This album meets and exceeds my expectations from Britney's 4th release. Gone are the sugary-sweet pop songs (Come on, you know you loved 'em!), and in their place are a collection of super-sexy tracks that make you wanna hop onto the dance floor or into your bed (with company, or as "Touch of My Hand" suggests, by yourself!).
I would highly recommend this disc to anyone who wasn't feeling Britney's previous albums. It has a completely different vibe & is much more mature.
ME AGAINST THE MUSIC - The first single from the album. Rapid fire lyrics & guest appearance by Madonna. Hot! 5/5
(I GOT THAT) BOOM BOOM - I could have gone without the Ying Yang Twins blabbing at the beginning of the song, but that aside this song is really awesome & terribly catchy. 5/5
SHOWDOWN - Really fun song...sounds a bit like a jab at a past boyfriend. Not to name any names..*ahem* 5/5
BREATHE ON ME - Undoubtedly one of the top songs on the album. Very breathy vocals on this one. Lots of grunting & groaning, too. Fun for the whole family! I hope this is a single...5/5
EARLY MORNIN' - Okay, so right as we're starting to get into this amazing album, along comes "Early Mornin'". Don't get me wrong, this song isn't terrible, but it leaves a lot to be desired. The lyrics are pretty lame, and Britney just sounds bored. I'll pass. 2/5
TOXIC - But don't hit the stop button just yet! Sandwiched between two not-so-great songs, Toxic is an excellent example of Britney's new style. Fast-paced & catchy, this song is most likely going to be a single. 5/5
OUTRAGEOUS - What on earth is this? I wonder how much R. Kelly got paid to write this. The lyrics are redundant and pointless.

TOUCH OF MY HAND - This song opens with beautiful eastern-influenced music followed by Britney telling the world how she likes to play with herself. Really pretty song. 5/5
THE HOOK UP - Sounds like Shaggy yelling at the opening of the song...Anyway, another fast & fun dance track. Kinda hard to describe. 4/5
SHADOW - The first ballad of the album. Don't roll your eyes, this song is really powerful. Britney's voice sounds amazing. 5/5
BRAVE NEW GIRL - The one ultra-glittery, bubblegum, cartoonish, vocoded-to-perfection pop song on the album. This song comes at just the right time on the album & is just fun as hell! 5/5
EVERYTIME - A fantastic way to bring the album to an end (not counting the MATM remix), Everytime is a really emotional & touching song that everyone is saying is about JT. Whatever. It's beautiful. 5/5
ME AGAINST THE MUSIC REMIX - This is a fantastic remix of MATM, but after hearing "Everytime" this song kinda shocks the hell out of you. After a minute of this you're ready to dance all over again! 5/5
Overall, this album is a a masterpiece. The songs are original, Britney's vocals have never sounded better, and the music itself is really awesome. And one of my favorite things about this CD is that FINALLY Britney saved the ballads for the END of the album so we can have an uninterrupted jammin' good time with all the more fast-paced songs until the end of the album when it's time to cool off and slow down a bit.

Free Music Review: BRITNEY'S OUTRAGEOUS (in a good way)

Britney's 4th album , to me, is her personal best. She has grown up and still growing and her music and her different melodic ventures displays that. She took me by surprise as I was slightly reluctant to buy this cd because I was some-what disappointed with her last cd "Britney." Yet after hearing and grooving to "Me Against the Music" and the addictive song "Toxic," I had to purchase her cd and I'm glad I did.Britney explores sounds such as R&B ("Outrageous" produced & written by R. Kelly), Rap ("(I got that) Boom Boom" featuring the Ying Yang Twinz) among other sounds which work well with her voice and style. I was surprised that I actually found a cd that I like almost every LAST song. The only songs I dislike are "(I got that) Boom Boom." I hate the Ying Yang Twinz (with all that yelling and their annoying voices, ugh, totally unnecessary). They make the song really bad, seriously and the pair up is unbelievable and downright odd. I think she should have done a song with Ludacris or even Chingy, it would have made the song worth listening to. "Shadow" starts out promising with good lyrical arrangement and a terrific beat but the chorus ruins it for me, kind of cheesy to me, like an 80`s song of some sort. "Touch of My Hand" is a TMI (Too much information) type song. I mean, what was she thinking when she made that song? (Well, um, actually, I think we ALL know what she was thinking, the question is WHY would she put it on a cd?)

Recommend it?: Absolutely! (To those over 18 of course. Britney Spears isn't 17 years old singing about, "Soda pop/watch it fizz and pop." She's a young adult exploring her sexuality and experiencing adulthood, nothing preteens-young teens could EVER relate to so please don't buy it for your child or any child for that matter. Listen to your kid's music before purchasing it, it makes you a RESPONSIBLE parent. I'm tired of parents getting mad at the artists when YOU'RE the one in charge of what YOUR child listens to, watches, etc. So get a grip.)
Anyway, this cd is beyond good and deserves more credit than it is receiving. Buy this cd and you be the judge.
Free Music Review: She Got Me In The Zone

Britney new CD "In The Zone" has not left my CD player since November. Being a dance student I'm very grateful for Britney as she keeps me on my toes and makes me practice outside of Dance school. Vocally, Britney is no Celine Dion but beat-wise no one does it better than her, although Madonna & Michael are right on her heels.Me Against The Music - 5/5 I love this song, especially the part where she sings "With the beat of the drum, gotta keep with that bass" and also I love the "Hey Britney..." part Madonna sings.
(I Got That) Boom Boom - 5/5 This song rocks, especially the banjo in it, the Ying Yang Twins are pretty good in it too, which surprised me because I normally hate their music.
Showdown - 4/5, This song has a great beat to it, lyrically it's a little sub-par, but it's still good. A more of a cool down dance song then a pack the dance floors dance song.
Breathe On Me - 4/5 I don't understand why people say this song would pack club dance floors. To me it's extremely catchy but the beat is too slow to dance to, well at least a non-sexual dance.
Early Mornin' - 5/5 The BEST song on the disc, I love the trancy feel to it. This is still a dance song but more of a cool down not a get your groove on song, but it's insanely catchy.
Toxic - 4/5, Ahhh, Britney's most popular song since Oops!...I Did It Again. This song is extremely catchy, especially the Stockholm Strings Session on it. A pretty good dance song.
Outrageous - 3/5 This song is catchy and gets stuck in your head but I dunno, I'm not really feelin' this one; although it is a great song to dance to.
Touch of My Hand - 5/5, I love the asian feel to it, very Ray of Light/Frozen-y. I thought it was very tastefully done.
Shadow - 4/5 A really nice song, obviously you can't dance to it but none the less it's very nice.
The Hook Up - 2/5, Ewww. This song is danceable but I don't dance to it. I can't stand it. The only Filler song on the disc IMO. This should have been replaced with the unreleased song "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)"
Brave New Girl - 5/5, very risqué topic but I love the techno-y feel to it. Britney also makes a fairly good rapper.
Everytime - 5/5, Ahh, Britney's new song, the song which finds herself commiting suicide in the video. A very beautiful, haunting song. I love this song.
Me Against The Music [Remix] - 4/5, I think this song is just filler but It's got an awsome middle-eastren feel to it which actually makes it more danceable to than the original cut.
People who say that Christina/Norah/Celine etc are better or whatever need to grow up. Britney and all them are completely different. She never said she was gonna right deep meaningfull lyrics like "I'm OK" by Christina or wow us at the Piano like Norah or belt out a tune like Celine. Britney has done nothing more or less than craft an amazing dance CD thats main goal is to get you to shake your bon-bon.
I believe this CD is 4/5 stars but since I think it should be 4 I'm giving it 5 so it'll help raise the avg. rating of it to 4 faster than if I were to give it the 4 it deserves.

"In The Zone" by Miss Spears it's the best record that she's put out there, no doubt about it. I have the edition with the bonus track called "The Answer" and of all the 14 songs, in my opinion, 12 are excellent pieces of dance tunes.Me Agaisnt The Music (10/10): the first single that we all know it's a great tune, with excellent beats, production and arragments.
(I Got That) Boom Boom (9/10): when I heard the clip for this song, I Don't like ot at all, but now that I listened to it carefully, it's just a must listen, with fast beat this piece it's made to the dancefloor.
Showdown (10/10): one of the best songs on the disc, the beat grabs you from the beginning, it's a midtempo tune, with the sexy lyrics "I don't really wanna be a tease, would you undo my zipper please?". Finally Britney sounds at look hot at the same time.
Breathe On Me (10/10): this song it's a piece that mixes electronica and trance, the lyrics, again, are very sexy and Britney's voice sounds great, breathy and sexy, at the chorus you'll be hooked.
Early Mornin'(5/10): this track was produced by Moby and it's a little out of place in this CD, it's a slow and atmospheric tune about the morning after a wild party; nothing in particular, I skip this.
Toxic (9/10): this one begins very well, with an 60's intro, the beat and the break of the guitar made the whole tune. It's about get hooked with a toxic guy, this track will definitely make you feet move.
Outrageous: (8/10): R. Kelly makes a great job with this track, that has a arabic vibe going on mixed with heavy hip hop beats. Fun tune.
Touch Of My Hand (6/10): the famous song about loving yourself it's nothing great, the only good part of this are the lyrics, the rest feels out of place, it happens the same thing that happens with track 5.
The Hook Up (10/10): this one it's a mix of Shaggy and Kylie Minogue. The beat it's reagge mixed with electronica, another excellent song in the disc.
Shadow (8/10): this one sounds like the Avril Lavigne song "I'm With You" but in a electronica version. The hand of The Matrix feels TOOOO much in this one. The lyrics are very simple and the good part comes with the chorus.
Brave New Girl (9/10): a very happy tune, about a girl who finds herself. It has a fast beat, and a guitar that reminds me a lot to the "Ray Of Light" intro from the disc of the same name by Madonna.
Everytime (10/10): this one it's a haunting tune, with nothing but a piano and strings. The lyrics are just great and touching.
Remix (10/10): I usually don't care about remixes, but this one it's so hot, very good and actually kinda better than the orinigal version of the track.
The Answer (Bonus Track): this one has a great beat, something like you've never heard from Britney before, P. Diddy made a good job with this one.
This CD has almost no fillers, and you can easily listen from teh beginning to the very end and enjoy every track. Spears made a really great work with this new release, leaving behind the bubblegum pop of her previous releases, bought it you won't be dissapointed.

I've really upset about some people said that he/she wants to drink britney's blood,so i don't scared he/she,so i named his/her nick "q1a",hi,this is the page for people recommends whatever they think,i know that there's alot of people don't like this album because it's from Ms Spears,who have a worst voice,bas music,so that's the reason you don't ,like this album,but why have you recommended this album too much,i've camt to your SEE MORE ABOUT ME & it funny how you have recommend about this album 5or 4times,that's your opinion,we respeast it,but you don't need to came in this page to slam her like that,be nice!!!!!People who gave this album under 3stars are not really hooked with this cd,like alot of people said if you gave this album a chance(3/4 chances) you won't be dissapointed,it just because she changing her style too fast,like me,1st when i bought this album,i really don't like it but then,i've listen to some songs like toxic,touch of my hand,shadow,everytime,MATM.....these are some of the easy songs you could hooked with......ok,here's my point
