As someone who was never a big Bruce fan, this record really bowled me over!!! I heard some previews and I actually couldn't wait to get the record. It is well worth the money. It's a wonderful album about time and the passage thereof and the song This Life really transports you back to the 60's.
Forget the naysayers! This is a great album folks!!!

I enjoyed the variety of music contained in this CD; I listen to it on my way to work and enjoy the "Walk Away" and "Outlaw Pete" very much. The other pieces are also the type of music that one can listen to again, and again, without tiring of them. It's always great to get something new from Mr Springsteen-and we've been lucky to be getting a whole bunch of great stuff from him lately. If you're a fan of the boss-you'll get this cd. Bruce is still on top. The Wrestler is haunting and sums up the the movie so well that the director had to put it in the closing credits so as not to spoil the movie. Queen of the Supermarket and Life Itself are great! I hope after the summer Europe tour Bruce adds some Florida dates!!!Free Music Review: Bruce at his best

This is an excellent album, the Boss is back at the top of his art with this album. The DVD is an excellent production of the recording sessions.
A classic that everyone should have in its collection.
As a side note, it was given 5 stars in Rolling Stones.
