Free Music Review: A classic stage and movie production

Although this recording is the from the orginal cast version and not the movie, it still brought home memories of the songs that made it so rememberable. When compared to the movie version I felt it lacked the raspy voices of song. This version had talented young actors and actresses singing the songs. If you like movie soundtracks then this isn't it, but if you like stage soundtracks then this is it. I'm still searching for the movie soundtrack, but am gladly adding this to my library.Free Music Review: Don't buy this if you don't like a cast of nothing but kids

I had no idea what this play was about when I purchaced the soundtrack. I'm trying to build my stage CD library up one at a time, and after listening to the songs on Amazon that I could I went ahead and bought it. No one here mentioned this is a 40's type gangster play with the entire cast made up of children. So I thought I'd throw that in. It's ok, and the kids are really talented, but I feel like I'm at a high school play whenever I hear the music.Free Music Review: Okay... It is kids and they are Talented!

My Review might be just my openion but, I do think that a lot of it is true. Bugsy Malone is one of the best plays I have ever seen to say the least I was in it. I was in the BUGSY MALONE USA PREMIERE. I loved it. We used splure guns. This C.D. does not have all of the songs on it plus it goes way over tempo. And some of the voices like Tallulah and Lena to high or two low of voice. But, I do like so there. I play it one a week or more.Free Music Review: Good CD.. not great

I may be just a tad biased when it comes to reviewing this CD considering I was in the play earlier this year.. The vocals these kids have are okay at best.. Some just are plain out annoying.. However.. The CD is good if your a fan of the movie.. Or if you were in the play and need some kind of momento to remember it by.. If you havent really associated with either the play of the Movie i cant really recomend you buy it..Free Music Review: Not a return after all.

I ordered this CD by mistake, thinking it was the soundtrack to the movie of the same name. I listened to it and I was about to return it but I had a change of heart. I thought about how well the music and the performers sound so I decided to keep it.
Additionally, I ordered the actual soundtrack of the movie. If you like musicals performed on stage this CD is for you. Recommended.
