Free Music Review: A Great American Debut

This CD is a mix of songs from Busteds 2 UK CDs. It has the UK single Air Hostess, and the American "hit" What I Go To School For. 3 AM and Sleeping With The Light On are good ballads. Year 3000 is a fun little song. The CD exceeds its own high bar with the song from the Thunderbird movie, Thunderbirds Are Go. And it ends on a great note with Falling For You.

I've been obsessed with Busted ever since I visited England in early 2002, before they were even too popular in the UK. I got so excited when they released a CD in the United States and heard the news about them trying to 'break America'! I ran out and bought the CD the first day it came out, it's a FABULOUS CD. It's a mix of all their best songs from both albums. Their music is a rock-pop, they play their own instruments and write their own music. The songs on the CD are really awesome. Some are fast-paced songs, like She Wants to Be Me, and some, like Sleeping with the Light On and 3am, are melower pop ballads but none-the-less great songs. Busted's self-titled album is brilliant as it combines pop influences with punk flavor. These lads really know how to rock out, and their vocals are fantastic. They are true musicians since they all sing, play their own instruments and write their own songs. But, although these guys have experienced great success in the UK, they still manage to retain their sense of humor, which is quite evident in their lyrics. However, you won't just find light-hearted songs on this album. There are also some really catchy tunes, as well as si
ncere themes about relationships.
I highly recommend this album because you won't be disappointed.

If you haven't heard of Busted, you're missing out! Busted are a pop-rock band from the UK. If you need some comparisons, their music is similar to New Found Glory, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, etc. I found out about Busted last April or May and have loved them ever since. I bought their first UK album and loved it so of course I had to buy this one. Busted did not disappoint. This album rocks!! This album is a mix of their first and second albums, so if you like a Busted song that isn't on this album, just buy the other ones! They are all worth it! If you liked the first two Busted albums then you're sure to love this one; mainly because it's an eclectic mix of both.
These three guys from the UK can rock, and groove, so there's something for everyone. With their tight harmonies and catchy hooks (which they write themselves) and beautiful rumpus of instruments (which they play themselves) it is easy to see why they are destined to become the next big thing; making them not just some good-looking guys that can sing and play. The diverse blend of music on this album is guaranteed please.
