A suprise when I came across it in the store (missed it's release notes), this album by butch walker again shows his evolution as a singer/songwriter. Picking up the electrics again, he mixed back into this album some of the great sound of the Marvelous 3 with some of his newer sound from his last album letters, which was a pleasent departure from his prior music. You have to love the title Bethamphetamine. In all, a nice flowing album, produced and mixed well, and a great addition to the butch walker collection with his southgang, marvelous 3, and solo projects. Don't forget about his work as producer of the groups like "injected" and "Bowling for Soup" last two albums, which again showcase his talents.Free Music Review: Buy This CD

Once again, Butch weaves and spins his magic for us. "Bethamphetamine" stays with you for a long time, as does pretty much every other song on this CD. If you were to judge him on his lyrics alone, it would still merit 5 stars, but the music propels this CD into another galaxy of splendor!
Buy it. It is a treasure.

This man is the most unbelievable talent I have ever come across. Yet sadly, not one of my friends or even my husband know who he is!! What an injustice.
This is my favorite cd by far and even my 9 year olds sing along to The Taste of Red!
Can't wait to see Butch in Atlanta or Athens!

Butch Walker is the kind of artist that you can listen to every day without getting tired of his music. Everytime I listen to his songs, I find something that I hadn't noticed before. alright. heres the scoop... if your a true butch fan you will absolutly love this album... its different than letters, but if you give it a chance you will absolutly love it. its a lot more fun and upbeat. see him on tour for this album too, its an amazing show/set list. garunteed a good time.
