I have been looking for this for years. Thank goodness for amazon.com. I have this album but my record player went out several years ago. This "album" has always been one of my favorites. CW McCall lives in Ouray Colorado. He used to do slide shows that correlated to music he had written in downtown Ouray. That was twenty years ago. I'm sure he is still there. Ouray is beautiful. My favorite song is Silverton Train & Wolf Creek Pass. The picture on the front of the "album" was taken in that area. (Ouray)Free Music Review: the around best

The first time you listen to this cd, you will think that it is the stupidiest thing that you have ever heard. It sounds really funny, and it doesn't make sence. On the second time, you'll understand a little more what he is talking about. After the third time, you'll want to listen to it so much that you will have every word of every song memorised. If you don't belive me try it for your self. I have played it for all my friends. They listened to everything from Beastie boys and White Zombie, down to Chris LeDoux and Garth Brooks. After the third time of listening to this CD, most of them went out and bougt there own. C.W. McCall sounds as though he really belives in what he is singing. There is nothing fake about him. This CD would make a great addition to your collection. The worst part about him is that most the rest of his stuff is out of print. C.W. McCalls greatest hits smokes!! He sure is "carrying some dynamite!" -- every tune a gem. The music per Manheim Steamroller makes for an interesting foil to the down-home smokin' lyricism of a true country hero!! A must have for every collection!!Free Music Review: From Convoy to Christmas

Hard to believe that the man behind CW McCall is none other than Chip Davis of Mannheim Steamroller. Of course, I always thought the musicianship was better than your average 70's country. This album is a great addition to anyone's collection. It adds some great nostalgic feel to my collection.
