Free Music Notes for Café del Mar, Vol. 5Free Music Review: Excellent, excellent!!! Hit: 5 StarsMy dad gave aay this cd to me because he didn't liked it. I explored it and found out it was just amazing. It has the perfect songs to chill, to get on the road, and to get you going.
Free Music Review: Mellow grooves Hit: 4 StarsNot as good as vol 7 and 8, but still a groovy CD. Add it to the late-night, fireplace selections... (or summer grooves)
Free Music Review: Wow! Hit: 5 StarsI was riding in Europe with a friend when I first heard this CD. From the first note, I was hooked! A fan of lots of genres of music, I have never heard a CD that takes you to so many musical places while maintaining what I would call a "urban/downbeat sophistication." Truly awesome! I HAD to have this before I left Europe. Since I've been back, four of my friends who've heard it have bought it online! You CAN NOT go wrong with this CD!
Free Music Review: A triumph! Hit: 5 StarsIn one word, beautiful. I agree with Padilla's basic philosophy of compilations: variety. And this album has it! It features some deliciously lazy themes such as "Angels Landing" by the electronica champions Salt Tank (a personal favourite) to more rhythmical melodies like "Face a la Mer" by Les Negresses Vertes or the exquisitely trendy "Tout est Bleu" by Ame Strong. Melodies flow smoothly with no abrupt mood swings, creating a unique ambiance that will almost make you feel the soft breeze of the Mediterranean sea blowing through your living room.
Free Music Review: exellent Hit: 5 StarsIt's a beautiful piece. The rethym is very smooth. If you have a walkman or MD, it's a perfect one to go with you all the time.
