Free Music Review: I love Carlos Mencia. One of the funniest "unknowns" today

Carlos is only known to some serious comedy fans but I put him up there as one of my favorate comedians, right next to Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, and other , controversial comedians.This CD is good and is packed with good jokes. I first saw him on a HBO special, and he caught my eye. He has a website www.carlosmencia.com, and he has two other CDs (Unmerciful and America Rules!) I wasn't too impressed with America Rules! (except for the joke about Miss Afghanistan Pageant, which had me rolling), and he has taken his controversial comedy to a new level, in which I think he gets too overly chauvinistic about his American patriotism. But, like Carlos would say, "F*#% you Rene, if you don't like it". So, what can one say?
Pick up this CD and check his other out. I haven't seen or heard a bad show from Carlos yet and he WILL make you laugh.

Most of the people reviewing this got Carlos' message. This is a wonderfully funny, riotous CD that if you can allow yourself to laugh at anything, you will be laughing at everything on this CD. He does a masterful job of combining comedy with a serious message. He is funny and irreverant. He uses lots of profanity & explicit situations all to his advantage. He is equally opportunistic in his jokes towards all people- because the final message here is this: Laugh & love at ourselves & be tolerant of all people, no matter what color they are or where they are from. I have seen him do stand up on TV as well & he is just as funny on this CD. Seeing him is always a treat, but he transfers very well to audio. He is funny and very intuitive- he knows how to make people laugh & knows how to also push buttons. He is right on & I recommend this CD VERY highly!Free Music Review: For All the Haters

For people that saids he is not Mexican, he IS. His mother is Mexican(Magdelena Mencia) and his father is Honduras (Roberto Holness). Also his birth certificate does say Mencia as his last name (Ned Arnel Mencia), not Holness (his mother refuse to put his father's lastname). He didn't make up the last name idiots. I can't believe that same Mexicans are actually offended by his comedy, are you freakin serious? Some of these reviews are offended because they say he is not Mexican. Maybe you should do some research before you dog on someone via the internet for people to read. THOSE PEOPLE ARE THE REAL DEE DEE DEE. I absolutely love Carlos Mencia, he is my favorite comedian in the world. If you don't laugh at his jokes, you must be dead inside. In "Take a Joke America" Carlos Mencia reminds us to never stop laughing, even at the worst of racial problems in America. Carlos' passion to expose the hypocrisis within America will really make you think about who we really are in America today. I've never laughed so hard listening to an audio cd before. But at the same time I was listening to what Carlos was trying to tell us, That we are not in this America to fight all other races out there to remain socially acceptable. With this in mind Carlos tells it how it really is and reminds us again that we must laugh and take it for what it really Music Review: Not for the P.C. or uptight!Hit: 5 Stars Carlos Mencia ably joins the elite of comedy and social commentary, then charges to the head of the pack with his blistering, completely-true, absolutely hysterical observations. No sacred cow is safe, no inflated ego is spared and, best of all, no politically-correct lingo are allowed in his presence. Every color and culture is different and, similar to Chris Rock and the late Bill Hicks, Carlos is gives us permission to laugh at the differences, embrace them, make fun of ourselves, and just have a pants-wetting laugh (not an easy feat in this day and age). I can't wait for more from him!
