Carly Simon's never-ending creativity in song-writing shines through this album with a Brazilian flare. There is a variety of love songs that are easy on the ear and dance-able from Ms Simon and others including her talented son, Ben Taylor, ( Island). Her voice, a rich alto is just as strong as in the 70's and beautiful throughout. Highly recommended.Free Music Review: Good play along CD

OK, I don't think a lot of people will say my review is helpful, (that's OK, won't hurt my feelings), but after listening to the samples I'm buying this CD because it's great to play along with on my bongos, (and congas).
Even if you aren't great at keeping the rhythm, the slow and easy pace is easy to sound good with.
I like it.

Carly Simon is a wonderful artist and she has created a wonderful modern Bossa Nova album. The music itself is transporting, and her voice is absolutely perfect for it. TKOL is amazing!! I got home from College on Friday and haven't been able to stop listening to it. Carly's voice is rich and beautiful. I especially like People Say a lot. This is Carly in top form. A great collection of all newly written songs in 8 years. Her voice here sounds fantastic, and she looks great too. There surely has to be some new greatest hits here, especially the title track itself.
