Carman has a passion for Jesus and his desire to evangelize through his music is wonderful. God has gifted him with a beautiful voice and a great talent for writing awesome lyrics and he is using it for the glory of God.Songs from several of his earlier albums, which I do not own, are included on this double CD. His skit on "A Witch's Invitation' is thought provoking and great to know that 'greater is the One that is in us then the one that is in the world'.
I also found his new song "We Need God in America Again" to be so true and profound,. America has moved away from the gospel of Jesus Christ to a 'higher power' whatever that power may be and this is so sad that millions of people are not hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ on which the constitution was based. Who will be answerable for these lost souls? Definitely not the ones that have listened to this song and taken it to heart!
I have several albums by Carman, including "Passion for Praise", "I Surrender All", "The Absolute Best", "The Standard" and "Revival in the Land". Heart of a Champion is a great addition to my collection and I would recommend this album to anyone wanting to listen to something different and uplifting.
