Free Music Review: Another "Best Of" For Carmen!

Carman has been in the music business for decades already, so he has a lot of songs to offer in his various "Best of" albums. And this one is no different. With 90s classics like "A Witch's Invitation," "Satan, Bite the Dust," "Sunday School Rock," and "No Monsters," this album will remind you of just why you like listening to Carman in the first place. And for those of you who aren't yet Carman fans, this album will give you a glimpse of the many various song styles that he is so well known for.Out of the 30 songs on this album, six of them are new, including "Heart of a Champion," which was the title soundtrack to Carman's 2000 movie "Champion." Though the title song is the best of the new songs, it doesn't come close to comparing to what Carman is best known for.
The six new songs notwithstanding, this is a perfect album to add to your Carman collection, or to start a new Carman collection with.

This CD has been in my CD player ever since I bought it. I listen to it over and over again. If you have never heard of Carman this is the CD to buy. All of Carman's song are so founded on God's Word and if you notice almost all of the songs mention God, not like some other Christian artists that never mention God in their songs. I'm not being critical but I strongly believe that we should always remember that God should be the central theme. I'm so excited because in 3 days i get to see Carman in concert at the Baltimore Arena. I know it will be a powerful night. If you are thinking about getting this CD.....well don't think anymore, just buy it, trust me you won't be disappointed. I must be honest I don't love every single song but I would venture to say that I love about 90% of the double CD set. This is the first Carman c.d set I own and must say he displays true artistic talent that comes from the heart ! Lyrics and music may (and hopefully will) change the lives of those in need for the better. He is far removed from the way Hollywood movies or comedians would portray Christian or Evangelical artists in the satirical-stereo typical sense (big hair, big wigs, tons of flashy clothes, make-up and material extravagances that come across as sheer tackiness)...Also, for the reviewer from Columbia, SC-dated Oct. 25 be cautious of the words or spelling errors used. Most of us who have read his/her review sure know that they meant to say/write compilations,not "copulations". I have been a fan of Carmen for many years now, and I faithfully look forward to the Blessings of his music. I know that anything Carmen and God put together are a "Work of Art". This collection is just an indication as to the Faith and Love Carmen puts into his music and his constant work in getting the "Word" out through music. Today marks my 20th Wedding anniversary and the track "I promise" said it all, what memories I have been blessed with. I have just about everything he has put together and I never tire of listening to any of his music, especially during the tough times and trials. This CD set will bless you, no matter what type of music you like. Keep on Blessing us Carmen!
