Free Music Review: It Depends On Your World View
Hit: 3 Stars

If you're here reading this review, you're probably one of the many who either love CArman or hate him. He's been inChristian music over two decades and has inspired (and yes, disgusted) an equal number of people. It all depends on your world view. Carman has a genuine heart, and a passion for what he does. He's ultra-conservative and places a lot of emphasis on spiritual warfare. His political views aside, he's not a bad guy. He loves people and he loves God. I think he just takes things a little too far at times. This album is not all bad, though. Whatever type of music you like, you're sure to find it on this disc. Carman appeals to lovers of hip-hop, dance, rap, and (shock!) country all on the same CD. While this has garnered him more than his fair share of cristicism in the past, I think his chameleon-loke musical gymnastic ability is one of his greatest strengths. The song "America Again" bothers me, though. In it, Carman calls for a renewal of faith in this country, calling us to bring back parayer in school, eliminate abortion, etc. all the while totally stomping the face of freedom in the name of his worldview. This, I believe, is Carman's downfall. It really shows little compassion at all. Instead, it yells at and condemns any who have ever failed at being the perfect Christian. What if you're gay? Lesbian? Been divorced? Made mistakes in relationships? As far as CArman is concerned, you must be going to hell and you surely can't be a Christian. God hates those things, of course! If Carman would use his immense resources more responsibly-- to share the love of the God he beleives he speaks for-- then I think he could really hcange the world. Right now, he just makes me angry.

Free Music Review: This guy won a Dove Award for best hip-hop performance?
Hit: 2 Stars

I listened to "Who's In the House" once. They key word here is "once".

Free Music Review: Madonna meets Adolf Hitler
Hit: 1 Stars

Anybody who's seen Leni Riefenstahl's "Triumph of the Will" will immediately see parallels to Carman.

Riefenstahl's documentary of the 1934 Nuremburg rally will set the stage for Carman's multimedia concerts, replete with evoking mass hysteria in the crowds.

Carman's borrowing of the "Maddonna Truth or Dare" headset mike is the only new thing added.

Songs like "America Again" are simply paens to religious bigotry.

Luckily, this dreck is on the decline now.
