Free Music Notes for Really RosieFree Music Review: One of our favorites Hit: 5 Stars
This CD brings back good memories of my own childhood. My children love the little books and now love the CD. It is impossible to find in stores and we love giving it as a gift to friends that hear it at our house and in our car. Year after year my kids have been exposed to one poem or another in school. The kids love that the songs rhyme and are easy to sing along to. The lesson learned in Pierre is one that they have really responded to well. I just cannot say enough great things about the CD (or Carole King's voice!). If you can actually order this CD you will be purchasing a treasure!
Free Music Review: Desert Island Disk Hit: 5 Stars
Along with "To Kill a Mockingbird," I'd pack this disk. Good for me, and the adult kids who listened to Tapestry ad nauseum on road trips back in the day (but still love it anyway), and now the grands. Our new baby Charlotte already knows the tunes, and she's not due till May! Not too sweet, and just the minute it starts getting sentimental, something grizzled comes about--sometimes King's voice, sometimes the story line. Ahh...just listen...
Free Music Review: wonderful stuff Hit: 5 Stars
This is exactly as I remember it and my grand daughter loves it like my children and neice and nephew did. I only like the musical cd, as it is great car music etc.... the video does little or nothing for me. However my dislike for the look of maurice sendaks work may be why I dislike the video..... so judge for yourself. However the audio is magically fun!
Free Music Review: Love it as much as ever! Hit: 5 Stars
This is a really great cd. I had the record when I was a kid, and wore it out I listened to it so much. Now my daughter is loving the cd. I was so happy to find it! Even though it's over 20 years old, the songs are still really fun and sweet, and don't sound dated at all. A really fun cd for little girls, especially.
Free Music Review: A Timeless Must-have Hit: 5 Stars
My children loved Carole King's "Really Rosie" when they were very young.I got a new copy hoping that my grandchildren would enjoy it also. It has been a big hit! The 4-year old sings along and the 1-year old loves to "dance" to these well-written, fun songs. I would give this CD 6 stars if that was possible!
