I bought this CD a couple of months ago and it is still the only CD I'm listening to!! Not since Shelby Lynne's Tough all Over have I found an album as complete and captivating as this one. As many have said before, I could relate to the hit "Complicated" but quickly found the entire album to be one great song after another. "Don't Want You To Go" always makes me smile. "Georgia" is brillant and "One Day Closer to You" is a song full of hope. Carolyn is a great singer and song writer - I can't wait for her next release!!Free Music Review: One of the great debut albums

Have had CDJ's album since it was released in Canada. All songs are excellant with Masterpeice and Room with A View beautiful descriptions of Ms. Johnsons own personal life experiences. if you haven't heard "complicated" on the radio, you don't know what you have been missing!!! it is definitely one of my all-time favorite songs! i think it is one of my favorite songs because I can most definitely relate to it! it is about wanting to tell your friend that you love them, but at the same time you don't want to lose their friendship. plus:what if the don't like you like that? anyway, this is a great song, even if you hate all the other songs, the cd is still worth buying!Free Music Review: CDJ bangs out a great album :o )

OMG when i first heard the song "Georgia" i totally fell in love w/ it! But then when "Complicated came out i was so completely blown away, that i knew that i needed to get the cd ASAP! Carolyn is a highly gifted singer/songwriter and i can't wait for her next cd to come out! Carolyn dawn Johnson has a beautiful voice. You'll be especially impressed by the songs "Georgia" and "Complicated", this girl is an up and comer and won't soon fade away. Her lyrics are honest and catchy, if you like contemporary music you'll be hooked. In fact She may have dimmed the line between what's country and what's contemporary to the point that you no longer can tell. This girl looks good and sounds better.
