And for a reason. I knew (as did Simon) that this girl was going to win, no if ands or buts. I have to say that my only complaint here is that the suppossed b-side "Angels Brought me Here" was instead replaced by "Independence Day" and I mean, don't get me wrong, she knocks this song out of the park but I've heard her sing it so much on the show, and yes it was her track on the 'Idols Season 4 CD'...I just would have liked to hear the studio version of the song that won her the title (because we know it wasn't her rendition of 'Inside your Heaven') If they NEEDED to use a popular song to boost sales they should have used her cover of Heart's "Alone" because that was her BEST performance of the season. It was that performance that convinced me she was our next American Idol!Free Music Review: Carries first single.

got her new album yet.i liked both of the songs ive already heard

Have caught her performance in American Idol 4. Think she has lots of talent and her voice is fanstatic .... Was looking out for her album .... Brought her new album - some hearts over amazon ... it is really good :)will buy more of her albums in future.
Think the rendition of her songs are good esp for Inside your heaven. Heard Bo's version of the song, quite nice but found it rather bland and mild. Not really impactful..

Inside Your Heaven is a nice song and Carrie did it very well. I heard Bo's version and honestly I prefer Carrie's version more. Carrie did a great job in Independence Day too. I love her version and I do think her version is as good as Martina's version.
