Free Music Notes for Some Hearts

Free Music Review: Love this CD
Hit: 5 Stars

This product arrived in a very timely manner. Came in good condition. The CD itself had really good songs on them. Was very happy with purchase!

Free Music Review: What a voice!
Hit: 5 Stars

Total siren song. No doubt she is carefully groomed and monitored by the Nashville elite, but little miss Carrie has one hell of a voice that is all her own. There are many talented country singers, and the females are especially formidable, but she has little to fear if this is a taste of things to come. Carrie sings her little heart out like the world is on fire. Bless her for that.

Free Music Review: One of the Most Influential Albums of The Decade
Hit: 4 Stars

Carrie Underwood is the godess of country, bigger than Reba, bigger than Dolly, in fact, she's the biggest girl in country, period. And it all started with not some hearts, but with six million hearts. "Jesus Take The Wheel" is a good song, but I am now tiring of it after constant replays of the song on radio, on the multiple formats the song apeals to, including country, christian, and others.

"Before He Cheats" on the other hand is not for families, as the song is about beating the heck out of an ex's car. As appealing as that sounds, it isn't very nice, but it helped her sell a good portion of her albums. The rest of the songs on the album are OK, typical country fare. So, if you don't like country, you won't like this CD. With the exception of the title track, which is good top 40 material. One of the highlights I liked from the album was the one about her hometown, which was also the only one where she actually wrote a song off her album, and it's the highlight. Connection?

After 6-million albums sold, what do you expect me to say? It's the most groundbreaking album of all time? No, I don't even think it's that in the circles of country, it's close, but not there. This is only a debut album after all. Carrie as a singer is great, and some of her values are good, but a song about a revenge on a cheating boyfriend taints the album from getting my vote. You don't have to agree, but it's my opinion, and I'm sticking with it.

Free Music Review: Great CD
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a wonderful, very enjoyable cd. I have listened to it repeately. Highly recommend. I bought this one and "Carnival Ride" her next cd at the same time. Liked this one MUCH better.

Free Music Review: Surprisingly good.
Hit: 4 Stars

I'm not a country music fan, but I bought this album and enjoy it quite a bit. A couple of tracks are over-produced, and a little cheesy, but it's enjoyable. I can't help but sing along.
