Best Christian CD of last year, and just about any year for that matter. Songs 2, 3, and 4 got tons of airplay. Song 1 "What if his people prayed" really makes you think. And my favorite of the lesser known songs "Praise you with the dance" is so uplifting and positive. Sounds a bit Irish with the smokin' violin. You can't miss with the messages and praises in all the cuts on this CD. Not a clunker in the bunch.Free Music Review: Amazing Christian Music

This is the first album of Christian music I have ever owned that has achieved that awesome balance between spirituality and talent. So many Christian bands fall too far on one side of the scale, but Casting Crowns has hit it right on the mark! A great CD.
The first five tracks are challenging and thought-provoking original songs. The remaining four are wonderful covers of some well-known praises.

Casting Crowns got it right. I love this CD and so does my youth group. My favorite song on there is "If We are the Body" because it speaks the truth about the church. This song hits home and asks questions along the lines of - "Why does the church judge people seeking help rather than reach out to them?"
Over all, the music and lyrics are solid. This is worth having in one's music library.

My Science teacher plays this CD during class (I go to a Christian School) and everyone loves all the songs. "Who am I?" is an excellenly worded song. And now I love "If We Are the Body", "American Dream", "If His People Prayed", basically all of them but the the last two, which i don't find that catchy, but the group has an excellent talent for singing!
This is a must buy!!!!

This is probably one of the best CDs I've ever purchased. I bought it on a whim at a christian bookstore and ever since I started listening I can't stop! The lyrics are so meaningful and the music itself is beautiful and moving. I just bought the sheetmusic for this CD and I'm arranging some of the songs for my church choir!! This is an absolutely fantastic CD and I highly recommend it.
