Free Music Notes for Casting CrownsFree Music Review: Awesome Hit: 5 Stars
I heard "Who Am I" at a wedding and kept hearing it in my head over and over and said I must get that song. "Anointed song." On my way home from the wedding heard it on 99.1fm, said, must get that cd. Searched on line for information as I did not know the name of the artist. Thank God for the internet. One of the best cd's I've heard all year. I am now a fan of Casting Crowns. Continue the "anointed singing guys". Your Love is Estravagant is also fabulous. Love it, love it, love it.
Free Music Review: incredibly touching Hit: 5 Stars
I'll just keep this short and sweet.
Everytime I hear this artist, and their songs, I am always touched by their incite and deep meaning. It really makes you think, "yeah, I agree". And it just really touches you in a way that makes you want to get out there and DO SOMETHING for the Lord our Savior. Its a much needed kick in the butt that isn't a hard kick.
Get it, listen to it, and DEFINITELY listen to it with non believers. They need to know what they are missing out on.
oh and GO TO THEIR CONCERTS!
Free Music Review: Great music with a great message. Hit: 5 Stars
The radio in our car is tuned to a Christian station because, truthfully, it is the only station that we feel is appropriate for our kids. If it is not the music that is vulgar, it is the DJs being vulgar between songs. We had heard the song If We Are The Body and really hadn't heard who sang it. I went home one day after hearing it and typed some of the lyric into Google and, BAM, Casting Crowns came up. I ran to WalMart and picked up the CD that day. I have been listening to it ever since!
Free Music Review: Great music Hit: 5 Stars
This cd is wonderful. The lyrics are very thoughtful and they challenge the listener to do more with life. In the song "what if his people prayed," the song asks what would happen if people prayed instead of looking for answers on Oprah. The songs just go straight to the heart of many important issues in our society today. The first six songs are more of the popular music genre while the final four are more like praise and worship. No matter what you are looking for, this cd has it.
Free Music Review: Great! Hit: 5 Stars
I am part of a puppet team and we used this CD last summer. We went on a missions trip to Canada and, while we were there, we performed to "We Are The Body". We also listened to this CD a lot while on the trip. It was the 1st time I'd ever heard Casting Crowns and I loved this CD. Also, one of our puppet directors had been really sick for several years with ulcerated colitis (and the medicines involved). She was helped during this time of hardship by "Who Am I". Wonderful CD!
