This has to be the best Christian music I have ever heard! The lyrics are hard-hitting, the message totally relavant. My favorite song is "American Dream", because of the picture it shows: a typical desk jockey, neglecting his family totally to persue "the finer things" for them. Mark Hall's vocals are stupendous! This band loves the Lord, and thier music shows it! They are not afraid to show Christians where we are failing. This is excellent, can't wait to get "Lifesong"!Free Music Review: Great CD, not a bad song on it

I doubt very much I can say anything the other reviewers have not said already. This CD truly does not have a bad song on it. I first purchased Lifesong, and I loved it so much I purchased this one as well. I especially love the songs: "Who Am I," "What If his People Prayed," and "If we Are The Body." There are not a lot of bands out there that continually produce great CD after great CD. Casting Crowns is one of those bands. You can't go wrong here. My husband said the other day - are you listening to that cd again??? I LOVE IT! I saw them in concert Friday and they were AWESOME. What a great worship leader - Mark's stories come from the heart - he's real and genuine. I think that my favorite song is Voice of Truth though it's a tight race with Who am I? This cd will NOT disappoint. It's hard to believe this band is just a worship band from an Atlanta church! They ROCK!!! and they know how to praise - get this CD!Free Music Review: My favorite CD!

This is a great CD! The music is great the message is powerful and inspiring. Admittedly, the music is on the hard rock/grunge side of the spectrum and the message spends a lot of time challenging us to fix the places we fall short. But I still find the music and the message to be very powerful. As a side note, this is also my wife's favorite Christian CD and she doesn't really care for hard rock/grunge. The message is so powerful that she can't get enough of it.Free Music Review: Casting Crowns is awsome!

I love this cd! The best thing about it is it appeals to teens and their parents. I took this cd with me on a car trip and my mom, sister and I all listened to all the way to SC. It is so good. The best songs on it are What if His people prayed? and Life of Praise. Casting Crowns has such great lyrics. If you are going to buy just one of their cd's buy this one. But, I will have to warn you, you'll want to buy Lifesong too. They are just that good!
