Free Music Notes for Catch & ReleaseFree Music Review: Very surprised! Hit: 5 Stars
I am not a fan of most Indie music artists. In fact, most of my life, I've been Country fan. But after falling in love with the movie, I wanted to get the soundtrack, just from a collector's standpoint. But after watching the movie over and over, I began to really like the way the songs were setting up and adding to the scenes. So I put the dics in and gave it a listen. It did for me exactly what I expect a soundtrack to do... It put me right back in each part of the film where the songs were featured. The songs all painted vivid pictures, that allowed me to watch this great movie again in my head while driving, sitting at work, or relaxing at home with the TV off. I am a music junkie, and the best dics for me are the ones I can listen to from start to finish, so I dont have to go through the unrest of switch disca and skipping tracks. This CD is just that type. Just put it in and push play. The whole CD is mellow, and the songs go togther very well. It is well produces, and at 17 tracks, it lasts a while too. As far as an accompanyment to the film, this CD is perfect!
Free Music Review: Simplicity can be a wonderful thing Hit: 5 Stars
This movie was amazing and beautiful. It was sad, adorable, and hilarious. The theater would actually crack up many times, and even once, we all together. However, I found myself actually whispering to my friend, "I NEED THIS SOUNDTRACK!" This is one of those movies where you can't help but notice how perfect the songs fit in with the film. The music actually made the movie THAT much better.
I definately recommend this soundtrack to anyone who loves this movie, or anyone who is looking for a great relaxing CD to listen to while your driving, or just hanging around the house!
Free Music Review: Near Perfect Hit: 5 Stars
When I saw the movie in theaters, I recognized a couple songs, and loved some of the ones I had never heard.. so I knew I was going to get the soundtrack. And I'm soooo glad I did. It's a perfectly moodly and light sound that compliments the movie so well. This is one of those CDs, that though I have favorite tracks for sure, I can let the whole thing play and not skip around. If you like the genre (ie: you know you like one or two of these tracks), it's almost a sure thing that you'll like the rest of them too. Great CD all around.
Free Music Review: Perfectly Interwoven into Movie Hit: 5 Stars
One of those that will always bring scenes from the movie to mind. You can tell the choice of each song was critical to the director's vision for the movie.
Perry...never saw the trailer, but the song you mention sounds like Breathe (2 a.m.) by Anna Nalick...a very highly recommended album (Wreck of the Day).
Free Music Review: Great movie,..awesome soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
I really liked this movie but love the soundtrack. I have discovered new artists from this movie like Joshua Radin and Death Cab For Cutie(heard of them, never listened before). I normally don't get into the soundtracks for movies but this one caught my attention, I recommend it to anyone.
