Free Music Notes for Peter Pan (1997 Studio Cast)Free Music Review: A GREAT CD FOR ONE AND ALL! Hit: 5 Stars
"Peter Pan" starring Cathy Rigby just arrived in the mail today. I've played it 2 1/2 times so far and it's wonderful. Beautiful performances all around, and Cathy Rigby IS 12-years old and she IS Peter Pan! I'm going to have to order another CD as a gift.
Free Music Review: A great version -- better than I expected! Hit: 5 Stars
I got "Peter Pan" on CD for Christmas. It is wonderful! (Sometimes Ms. Rigby's voice sounds very much like Mary Martin -- and that ain't bad!) Terrific cast and orchestrations (as noted by someone else earlier). I recommend this CD very highly as well.
Free Music Review: Cathy Rigby Is Peter Pan Hit: 5 Stars
Cathy Rigby is a very good Peter Pan. Her recording surpasses Mary Martin's by a landslide! Her voice is very good on this recording. She also has a DVD out for her production of Peter Pan. Cathy Rigby Rules
Free Music Review: Peter Pan Flying High Hit: 5 Stars
My daughter is playing Wendy in a community youth theater production of Peter Pan. She has been singing along with the CD ever since we received it in the mail. Wonderful sound quality.
Free Music Review: Not Bad Hit: 4 Stars
It's true, Cathy Rigby doens't have the vocal power that Mary Martin did, but she's not too bad. It's the rest of the cast and the orchestrations that are great! The music seems to have much more energy than the original soundtrack. Also, I can't say enough about those kids! Elisa Sagardia is wonderful as Wendy! Lee Honey-Jones is probably the best John I have ever heard!! And who could disagree that Myles Anderson is the perfect Michael? I'm sure even Peter Pan himself/herself, Mary Martin, would be pleased with this recording!
