Well, after listening to this CD a few times, I have come to the conclusion Celine had delivered an album that is surely her most relaxed and confident album. She has her signature "hit to be ballad" "I Surrender" - quite amazing how it starts rather typical and then she belts it out. I was in awww. This is hit material. The next single, however, should be "I'm Alive". I hear mixes! This is such an uplifting song! I love it. To my surprise, I really enjoyed her Etta James remake of "At Last". Her voice has never sounded so clear and confident. A Must for A/C radio.

Being such a big Celine Dion fan, I had huge expectations for this album. She has exceeded them!

The only word that I can use for this CD is WOW!, it's beautiful, all the songs are great, I can really say that the waiting time was worth it.As soon as you play the CD, it starts with the the incredible "I'm alive", I think that this is Celine's best (it's really strange that didn't charted in the Hot 100, well I think that sometimes that's better because when a good song tops the charts it means that maybe you're gonna hate it because they play them to much).
The second song "Right in front of you" has a mix of great sound and beautiful lyrics, this one is followed by "Have you ever been in love" which is a romantic soft ballad, track #4 was written by Tina Turner's songwritter Terry Writting (What's love got to do with it), the song is "Rain, tax", after this song comes the great hit "A new day has come", what a wonderful song!, then comes "Ten days" actually this song it's a cover from a french singer (I don't remember his name) the song is powerful.
If you wanna dance you have track #11 "Sorry for love".
Really I can only say buy this album, it's a must have.
If you want to know more about this album, I can say that it sold 2 million copies only on its first week, now is certified in the US as Platinum x2, but I think that in no time it's gonna be Platinum x3.
It's really strange that Celine didn't get any Grammy nominations this year, but the album deserves at least 1 Grammy.

Everyone knows what a phenomenal voice Celine has. And everyone knows what a knack she has for catchy tunes and how she belts out those high notes. All this goes without saying, so I'm going to tell you why else you need this album.
1. This disc contains one of Celine's greatest hits, A New Day Has Come, in two great arrangements. This song tells us about a heart who had almost lost hope and who found its strength again. This is one we all can relate to.
2. A diverse mix of dance-able pop songs including "Right In Front of You" and "Sorry for Love" and powerful slow songs such as "I Surrender" and "Prayer" and as a bonus, fantastic renditions of the classics "At Last" and "Nature Boy", and you've got something for everyone. You won't be disappointed.
3. There are a generous sixteen tracks on the disc, which means you won't get tired of this album very quickly.
4. If you buy it used, like I did, then you're only paying approx. $5 including shipping. So what are you waiting for? Trust me - if you are anything like a fan of Celine's you need this album.

When I first heard Celine's new song "A New Day Has Come", I couldn't wait for the album to come out. I bought it the day it came out. The wait was worth it as I was not disappointed. Celine is my favorite singer and I'm glad she is back.This album is different from others she has released in the past. Each album she has put out has been different. Celine has had the opportunity to record songs by different songwriters. Alot of critics have slammed Celine because she doesn't write her own material. I feel that singers who don't write their own songs are better off since they don't run the risk of having every song on an album sound the same.
This album is packed with ballads and catchy uptempo songs. My favorites are "I'm Alive"-a good start off song; "Right In Front Of You"-very catchy; both versions of "A New Day Has Come"; "Goodbye's the Saddest Word"-the tearjerker song, "I Surrender"-typical Celine ballad; "The Greatest Reward"-another ballad and "Sorry for Love"-the Cher-like dance tune.
Thank you, Celine, for including the collage of photos in the album booklet. Even though Celine was away from the spotlight for two years, her voice is as great as ever. It's nice to have her back in an industry that has been dominated by the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

A New Day Has Come for Céline in-deed! Her new album is terrific. And no it's NOT copyrighted, by some of the other reviewers I saw wrote bad stuff about this C.D. and it's soo not true!! I hope you know that. Well, anyways more on the new best C.D. by Céline!! She makes her music sound totally different this time. We all know we're used to hearing her sing ballads such as her past songs: My Heart Will Go On, Because You Loved Me, etc. But now she made new songs with new music to them! I love the music here on this album! The new ones I love the best are: I'm Alive, A New Day Has Come (Both versions!), When The Wrong One Loves You Right, Sorry For Love.. Also there's a Spanish version of the French song L'amour Existe Encore. Which the titled Spanish one is: Aun Existe Amor. I like both versions but I loveee the French version more!! Then there's the saddest song on the album that'll make you cry. It is Goodbye's The Saddest Word.! The first time I got the C.D. and listened to this song I almost cried. If you haven't yet gotten this C.D. then please DOO! Also, for those who say this C.D. is stupid and copyrighted... it's NOT! It plays well in my Mother's computer, my Grandma's computer, my Grandma's C.D. player in her Car, my Stereo, my Hand-held C.D. player! It plays everywhere fine! So get this C.D. and don't listen to those other people who talk bad stuff about this C.D.! Bye Bye!
