As this purchase was in a foreign language, I could not easily find it locally. But I was certain Amazon would have it and they did. After the purchase there was one 'glitch'. The product had a defect; the last song 'skipped'. I thought there would be a problem with it's exchange since I had opened it, but I was wrong. Amazon was wonderful! They had my exchange within a couple of days. I printed out a return label and the process could not have been simpler. The new exchanged CD works perfectly and I could not be happier with it. I've always believed that one does not have to speak a certain language to enjoy the music in it and this French CD of Celine Dion is absolutely beautiful. I sat next to David Gategno and his mother at Celines next to the last concert in Las Vegas (Dec. 14, 2007) and found out he wrote 3 songs on her new French album. I own every French album she has ever published. The English albums are nice and some of the English songs are very beautiful, BUT: There is absolutely no comparison when Dion sings in her native tongue. I have listened to most of her French music hundreds of times, and I love all of it.
This latest 2007 release is, in my opinion, her best French album. Her complete control over the mood of the material is astounding. How she could ever do it so perfectly with all the pressures of her Las Vegas appearances is a mystery to me.
But let me not forget the superb instrumental arrangements, the peerless quality of the musicians, and the flawless production overall. I do not know the French language at all, but the style of French compositions is very unique, especially when a singing talent like Celine Dion presents it so effortlessly.

A superb piece!!! Delicate and beautifully done!!! I have followed Celine's voice for many years now as she alone has lifted me to the heavens. This album is a splendid body of work with her native voice at its finest. As if one is listening to the strings.
If you love 'The French Album' and 'On Ne Change Pas' ... do purchase this. These three albums alone were worth the wait for her gifts are majestic in French. Thank you Celine for you will never know what your music has done for me. I listen to the voice yet my heart hears the notes...you are an angel and an instrument from above.

I have always loved Celine, and when i had overdosed on her magnificent english material, i thought i'd give her french career a try, i'm so glad i did! this is my favorite Celine album of all time. Everything is perfect. the lyrics, the vocals, and the emotions poured out.
Every song is amazing, my absolute favorite is the instant classic on s'est aimé a cause, other highlights are la diva, the incredibly heartbreaking je ne suis pa celle, the beautiful Si J'etais quelq'un and the gorgeous closer Berçeuse
This is an absolute gorgeous album and it's one of my favorites of all time. I listen to it all the time.

I have loved Celine Dion for more than 15 years, before she became popular in America singing in English. I have all her albums in French and in English and saw her in Vegas. She is outstanding! This new CD in her original French is wonderfulI I love all the songs and I am looking forward to her new one in English.
