Free Music Notes for Falling Into YouFree Music Review: Celine's Best Hit: 5 Stars
'Falling Into You' is, without a doubt, Celine's best work to date. The lyrics are timeless, the melodies are classic, and her voice is superb. I am not lying when I say this is my absolute favourite album to date. Because I've owned in since its 1996 release, I know every bit of every song off by heart, and I could never even imagine not owning this CD. The thing which Celine takes the most hits for is the fact that she doesn't write her own songs. I do hold a certain respect for musicians who are able to both sing and write, or at least give an effort into the writing process. True, Celine doesn't write, but she has one of the most amazing voices of our time, and the songwriters who contributed to 'Falling Into You' are amazingly talented. Coupled together, that's what makes this album a masterpiece.
The album begins with the seven minute, 37 second power ballad 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now'. It's a magnificent, beautiful choice to start the album with. Written by Jim Steinman, Celine delivers the goods with her powerful voice. Who knows if the story of a past lover returning is true or not, either way, Celine makes listeners believe in what she's singing. The second track, 'Because You Loved Me' is one of Celine's most famous songs. If not the most memorable, it's certainly tied for first (along with the likes of 'If You Asked Me To' and 'My Heart Will Go On'). It was written by the fantastically talented Diane Warren, and was the theme from the film 'Up Close & Personal'. Next comes the title track of the album, 'Falling Into You'. This is quite a slow, sultry, and altogether extremely sexy song. Both Celine's vocals and the music provide an atmosphere that almost seems reminiscent of a dream.
'Make You Happy' is the fourth song , and the first up-beat track on the album. The lyrics and music go very well with Celine's voice, and showcase her talent at performing, not only slow songs, but faster ones as well. The fifth track, Seduces Me' follows much the same form as 'Falling Into You'. Both are slow, and sensual. Celine's voice breathes throughout the track beautifully and calmly in barely more than a whisper. It's an exquisite song. 'All By Myself' is a remake of Eric Carmen's timeless classic. Celine delivers the immortal song passionately and truthfully, and the end result is simply amazing. 'Declaration of Love' is another one of the more up-beat tracks found on 'Falling Into You'. Written by Michael Jay and Claude Gaudette, the lyrics are fun and Celine manages to pull off the fast track surprisingly well. The eighth song, 'Dreamin' of You' is one of my favourite tracks on the album. The vocals are amazing, the music is beautiful, and the lyrics are sweet and charming.
'I Love You' is the second of three songs Aldo Nova wrote on 'Falling Into You' (he co-wrote 'Dreamin' of You' and single-handedly wrote 'I Love You' and 'Your Light'). It opens beautifully with the lyrics "I must be crazy now/Maybe I dream too much/But when I think of you/I long to feel your touch". It's among the best on the album. The tenth song on the album is 'If That's What it Takes'. The music is absolutely breathtaking, and the song as a whole is deeply touching and romantic. 'I Don't Know' is among my personal favourite tracks. Lyrically, it's about knowing you can face many different obstacles (including "the bitter cold" and "love in vain") but unsure as to whether you can live without someone. The music is simple and fits well with the lyrics and vocals. 'River Deep, Mountain High' is a remake of Tina Turner's classic. Celine plays tribute to Tina by altering one of the lines to "just like Tina loves to sing", and pulls off the track unexpectedly well.
'Your Light' is a great track. It's very up-beat and country in sound, which doesn't make someone think of Celine Dion, but she makes it her own, and the end result is stunning. 'Call The Man' is, without a doubt, the best song on the entire album. It's painfully heart wrenching and magnificently sung. The lyrics are meaningful and deep, and Celine makes you believe in what she's singing. Take the opening verse for instance,
"Close the door
Shut the world away
All the fight's gone from this
Wounded heart
Across the floor
Dreams and shadows play
Like wind-blown refugees"
Spectacular. The last song on the album is 'Fly'. It's dedicated to Celine's niece, Karine, who died of Cystic Fibrosis. It's sweet and sad. Celine sings it slowly and quietly, almost as if she's on the verge of tears. A beautiful song choice for the end of the album.
Overall, this is a stunning album. It's an absolute masterpiece, and I recommend it to everyone. If you're a fan of Celine Dion, you should already own this album, as it is, by far, her best work. If you don't already own 'Falling Into You', rush out and buy it now! You won't be disappointed.

Free Music Review: SIMPLY THE BEST Hit: 5 Stars
Every popular A-rated diva will always have one particular album where they did no wrong. it's that one album once you've achieved it, no matter what you do you can never repeat it again. thats what i think anyway. mariah had daydream, toni had secrets, whitney had bodyguard. celine dion had falling into you. although let's talk about love was good but i can never live up to the hype & genius of this album.
i don't know what make this album so good, most probably the diversity and honesty that was imbedded during the making of this album. if you were to ask me to list my favourite albums of all time, this would be up there with the such of santana's supernatural, mariah carey's daydream, george micheal's older, alanis morisseete's jagged little pill & blur's 13.
in here lies the greatest love songs ever written.
IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW - is probably on top of the list. its penned by jim steinman and to me will always be then most beautiful song to me. ever. the lyrics is beautiful, the melody captivating & celine sealed the deal.
then there's TO LOVE YOU MORE that features taro hakase on violin, that fuses a very ethnical melody with western influence to create magic.
FLY a song dedicated to her niece karine, is pure and sweet, which it's strength lies in its poetically constructed words.
I LOVE YOU is the 1st song i ever liked from celine. it's nice and there's nothing more sweeter than an urequitted love that you thought wrong.
DREAMING OF YOU - MASTERPIECE
The next are great songs (remember above are the greatest love songs ever whereas, this is just the beginning of the great song in this album)
BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME which is penned by the great soundtrack queen dianne warren. it sfor the soundtrack of up, close & personal. it has been the lead single for this album. nice
FALLING INTO YOU is the title track. the beauty lies in the exotic musical arrangement & the simplicity in it's words. of course celine's voice is self-explainatory.
SEDUCES ME - breathlessly sensual singing style accompanied with a heartachingly beautiful tune.
ALL BY MYSELF is a cover of eric carmen's hit & is the living proof of celine's vocal capability. when you listen to this song you could actually feel the greatest pain ever - loneliness.
CALL THE MAN - just like it for no special reason
just when u thought that she can't pull something upbeat, well she proved you wrong again
i'm absolutely in love with DECLARATION OF LOVE, me thinks it's just a great track. period.
MAKE YOU HAPPY actually achieved whwt it sought to do. to make me happy, heck it was once used for a children's cartoon commercial. tell me how happier can you get.
I DON'T KNOW (darkly lingerince of not knowing how to live witout someone's affection)& RIVER DEEP, MOUNTAIN HIGH (nothing can stop you if you want it bad enough courtesy of tina turner) are nice.
NATURAL WOMAN (originally performed by aretha franklin) & IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES, are okay tracks though it doesn't match up to the phenomenon of the other 14 tracks.
YOUR LIGHT is not available in the asian version of this cd.
you want a verdict. it is one of the best album of all times. it even nailed best pop album & album of the year at the 1997 grammy's. sold more than 20 millions all over the world. need more convincing. didn't think so.
Free Music Review: Containing the most beautiful song ever Hit: 5 Stars
I wont go to much in personal Details, but my first love had this cd, and we listened to it all night. And there were one song we played over and over, and that was the brilliant masterpiece "It`s all coming back to me now". Written by the Mastermind behind Meatloaf, Jim Steinman, this haunting song is fantastic. Celine does her strongest performance on this, filling every note with a force to be reckoned with. No other singer in the world could have done this so perfectly like Celine. If you got no idea of how the song sounds like, think a "I`d do anything for love" version sung by Celine Dion, but a little bit faster and dramatic. The Choir is there, the Piano, the powerful chords and the light "angel-like" parts. It is the most beautiful song ever. It alone gives this CD a 5`er.So to rest assured Celine deserves the highest mark, I can get on to the rest of the album. The other great songs on the album, is "Falling into you" which is another song featuring lovely sax playing! Makes me shiver everytime. Then we got the melancolic "Seduces me" and the classic "All by Myself". Much better than the versions sung by men, those sounds dull. The Lovely "(You make me feel like A) Natural Woman", with a great chorus. I can feel the R&B coming right thru the speakers. "I dont Know" is a wonderful, slow and sad song. "Your Light" is an upbeat catchy but still wonderful song, with an interesting verse. The Chorus is a bit to clichè for me, but the song is neverthless one of my favorites on the album. Finally, the short little diamond, "Fly". It sounds so sweet, and Celine keeps her voice down, which gives her a whisperlike voice. Beautiful. The songs I didnt care to much about, is "Because you Loved Me", "Make you Happy", "Declaration of Life", "Dreamin of You", "I love you", "If That`s what it takes", "River Deep, Mountain High" and "Call the Man". Now there is ONE question I have to ask. Why on Earth do Celine have to ruin the records with the noisy songs in the middle of the silent and calm ones? On this record, she does it with the horrible "River Deep, Mountain Deep", a song originally recorded by Tina Turner. As said, the problem here is that this song isnt exactly laidback, slow and fitting. It`s noisy, and destroys the whole mood. You will probably jump too, it comes right in after "I dont know". This is the same problem as in "Let`s talk about Love", where "Treat her like a lady" appears from nothing and ruins everything, all the mood the record built up destroyed in a second. Why? Oh well, this is a minor flaw with the record, besides from that, this is superb stuff. Celine sounds simply great. The thing about Celine`s album, is that all the songs are written by different writers, making it impossible to love everything. Thats why I rate this a 5, even with all the songs I didnt like, because if I ask a friend, he/she will like other songs. This is also the case on Lets Talk about Love, which I strongly recommends too. But for now, run out, buy this cd, and engulf yourself with "It`s all coming back to me Now". You will soon discover that this is Celine`s best song.
Free Music Review: Celine's best album Hit: 5 Stars
This was the first Celine album that I ever brought, and IMO the best one she's ever done. A lot of other people think so, it's sold over 30 million copies worldwide and spun three hits. 1. It's All Coming Back To Me Now (5/5). The song that got me hooked. I saw the video on VH1 six years ago and it was absolutely breathtaking. Celine showcases her voice in this song like no other and the lyrics are great. 2. Because You Loved Me (5/5). The second-best on the album, this is a gorgeous mid-tempo song with uplifting lyrics and a great performance by Celine. 3. Falling Into You (4.5/5). A sensual, rhythmic song, the album's title track is great. The African drums in the background are haunting. 4. Make You Happy (5/5). The album's first real upbeat tune, this one is a winner, with it's reggae-like instrumentation and upbeat lyrics. Of course, Celine takes the song to another level with her vocals. 5. Seduces Me (5/5). Aaaaah, if you want a [nice], romantic song, this is the one for you. The lone strumming of the guitar in the background and Celine's low-key, sensual performance make this another winner. 6. All By Myself (4/5). If you wanna hear Celine take her voice WAY up there, listen to this remake of Eric Carmen's 1975 classic. It's wonderful. However, the live version is better, and if that were on here, it would be 5 stars. 7. Declaration of Love (4.5/5). A feel-good song if there ever was one, especially after the angst of "All By Myself". The positive lyrics and Celine's voice fit together like a glove. 8. Dreaming of You (5/5). Here begins the "big ballad three" section of the album. This song is gorgeous. The lyrics are powerfully written and the music produced lushly, and Celine sings it wonderfully. 9. I Love You (5/5). OMG, I LOVE THIS SONG!! Passionate lyrics, gorgeous, powerful music and Celine's impassioned delivery make this the #3 song on the album. 10. If That's What It Takes (5/5). An English version of Celine's big French-language hit "Por Que Tu M'aimes Encore", this song is a bit quieter than the other two, but it isn't any less lovely. The simple lyrics are great and Celine performs beautifully. 11. I Don't Know (4.5/5). This one is the translation of "Je Sais Pas", and a bit more direct translation than the preceding song. I really like this song. 12. River Deep, Mountain High (4/5). Does Celine do this one better than Tina Turner? Of course not. But she does a darn good job on this one anyway. This one ROCKS!! 13. Call The Man - (5/5). A truly beautiful song. The lyrics are emotional and heartfelt, while Celine turns in a vocal performance with shades of both vulnerability and strength in one instance. The choir adds a wall of sound that just adds to it all. 14. Fly (5/5). A real tear-jerker, this is the song dedicated to her niece, who died of cystic fibrosis. It is so emotional that I get a lump in my throat whenever I listen to it. This song is translated from "Vole". TRACKS ON CANADIAN RELEASE THAT I HAVE Natural Woman (4/5). While Celine does not do this better than Aretha Franklin (who could do it better, anyway?), she does a really good job with it. Your Light (5/5). This is an upbeat gem that should have been on all releases. Celine sings very well on this one and the lyrics are great.

Celine Dion, one of my all-time favorite music artists, is a wonderful musician and has an extraordinary singing voice. Her music has always been a soothing, relaxing sanctuary for me. When I've had a tough day or am in a bad mood, I can turn on any one of Dion's CD's and I know it is sure to help me relax and unwind. Celine Dion's soft, sweet voice combined with the deep and passionate words that express love and tenderness are a combination that is sure to move you. One of my favorite albums by Celine Dion, although they are all equally great, is titled "Falling into You". This CD, which contains some of Celine Dion's best written love ballads, sung with feeling and dedication is a CD I can not get enough of. It is no wonder this CD recieved a grammy award and has reached platinum status in sales.
This CD contains the hits "Because you Loved Me", "It's All Coming Back to Me Now", and "Falling Into You", three great songs, well written and sung wonderfully. The hit "Because You Loved Me", sung so energetically by Celine Dion is a beautiful love song which words go beyond the meaning of love. The song, "It's all Coming Back to Me Now", is a heartfelt, deep song that will take you back to previous love affairs. "Falling Into You" is another great song that touches you so deep inside that your emotions will overflow and make you feel many different feelings. These three songs are only a sampling of just one of Celine Dion's great albums.
The above songs are only three great tracks on this CD. "Seduces Me", "All By Myself", and "Call The Man" are three more great examples of Celine's Dion's amazing talent. These and the entire CD portray some of Celine Dion's greatest singing abilities that have never disappointed me. Celine Dion is one of my favorite artists. There has never been a song nor album by Celine Dion that has not moved me or made me feel like I am in another world. Her songs are meaningful, heartfelt and her voice is filled with emotion when she is singing. I know I can always expect great songs from Celine Dion.
