Free Music Review: Falling Back In Love With Celine - Her Greatest Yet.

When "One Heart" (2003 release) came out, I was dumbfounded that Celine rushed out another CD so early. The first released single "I Drove All Night" was not very appealing to me, so I would just change the channel from VH1 to another channel. It wasn't until a few months later that I sat through the whole music video and listened to the song. I saw a refresh, beautiful Celine singing a very upbeat ballad. I fell back in love with her and quickly rushed out to purchase "One Heart" - I was not disappointed. Some of her songs take a more softer step, ranging into the sounds that were featured on her 1990 debut "Unison." Other songs were just beautifully done ballads. And since I had a strong hate for "A New Day Has Come," all of the songs became great to listen to. I almost fell in love with this whole CD except for track #6 and the Chrysler logo..

With upbeat songs like "I Drove All Night" to beautiful ballads like "Love Is All We Need" and more serious, yet uplifting songs such as her slow remake of "Sorry For Love" and "Forget Me Not", it's easy to understand why people have fallen back in love with Celine. Although this album was rushed out ("A New Day Has Come" only had two singles released, the title track and "I'm Alive" which was featured in the Stuart Little 2 movie."), and as far as all of these bad reviews that Celine had sold out - this is not true. Her songs shouldn't make you feel like she sold out, only the Chrysler logo. But for whatever reason why Celine included the logo on her CD, that's not a very good reason for us to shun her beautiful music. "One Heart" has some of the best work she's ever done so far. "Coulda Woulda Shoulda" is a very good song.. "Could woulda shoulda, but I didn't do that. Just throw in everything you got, because in love there's no holding back." - this songs tells anyone in love that you shouldn't hold back - you should go out and express your love to the one person you're in love with because you may not know what will happen, but you should give it a shot to see where your feelings stand and what will happen - as well as not having to regret anything bad that may happen or having to regret believing in love. I'm guessing everyone will agree with me that it's a great song because of its endless positive reviews. When it comes to mature, beautiful ballads, "Naked" and "Reveal" stand out as great examples. But these songs aren't harmful for young listeners. Celine's music is never too explicit for any age of listeners. "One Heart", the title track of this CD, has a lot of resentment from listeners, because according to them, it's featured in a car commercial - but despite that, this song is about a person that has one heart with one dream to find the love this person is looking for, and keeps searching, never ever giving up because love is lighting the way to true happiness.

Overall, this CD is Celine's greatest because she moves to a more serious tone and releases the energy that delivers great, meaningful ballads. Each song on this CD makes me fall in love with Celine more and more, except for "Stand By Your Side" which for some reason I didn't take a liking to, and the Chrysler logo featured inside of her CD. Celine is not a sell-out, she is at the peak of her career as of now (well, this statement could be easily thrown out since her greatest song was the theme for Titanic "My Heart Will Go On"), but Celine delivers great and powerful ballads. Although some of her upbeat songs would be great dance songs, how dare anyone compare Shania Twain or Britney Spears to Celine Dion. She makes her music her own masterpieces. The relationship you could make from Shania to Britney is her 2000 song "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know" which Shania Twain and husband R. J. "Mutt" Lange wrote. But other than that, this CD reminds me of her earlier releases "Unison" and her self-titled release "Celine Dion" - a more soft approach towards her music and not pumping out glass breaking ballads that would have Mariah running for the hills. But then again, there's nothing wrong with Celine's powerful ballads. All of her music is great - this CD would make a great add-on to anyone's music collection. A perfect 5 out of 5.
