Free Music Review: A New Day indeed!

This is the freshest, most engaging music I've heard from Celine since the 1999 with 'That's the Way It Is'! There's so many new sounds and directions explored on this CD, while still keeping that top-notch quality Celine always brings to the table. It's an album that flows from beginning to end and you just want to play over and over!
There are so many stand out tracks: Shadow of Love, Can't Fight the Feelin', and Fade Away have invigorating upbeat sounds that rock, make you want to dance and then hit the repeat button, Taking Chances, Alone, and This Time take Dion's powerhouse pipes and add some edge, Eyes on Me has such a fun oriental feel, Right Next to the Right one has an attractive light old-time country tint, New Dawn takes a more soulful southern baptist feel, That's Just the Woman in Me pulls out some serious inner Joplin.
There are still tracks were Celine stay true to her form and delivers beautiful, moving vocals such as My Love, A Song for You, and Skies of L.A. All in all Celine has combined power and new energy into this fabulous album, it's certainly a chance worth taking!

If you like Celine Dion, you're going to like this album. With the world's greatest in music behind her, this is a top-notch album. She takes some great risks and if you love Celine, she always comes out on top no matter what she tries, simply because her voice is like none other. If your voice can do anything, why not try!?
"Taking Chances" is the awesome first single. I really like the sound of "Eyes on Me", for me "Surprise Surprise" was another highlight, "New Dawn" sounded too much like a by-product of "A New Day Has Come" so I didn't like that as much. "That's Just the Woman In Me" was really surprising. She throws all vocal technique out the window to rock out and it sounds cool, but being a singer myself, it sounds like it must've hurt! So I personally don't find that a favorite, but it's definitely different from anything I've heard before from her.
So, just to reiterate, if you liked her "A New Day" album and the one before that, or if you love most everything she does, you won't be disappointed.

I always read reviews but never have the guts to write one for the singer(s)that I adore. So for the first time, I'm here....
It has been a while for Celine to come out with an album which received mix review from all. But to be frank this is not a worst album from her to all her fans and to those who just get to know her. Just follow your instinct not just based on others comment on the album. I've been Celine's die-hard follower since the album "The Power of Love", by far she never fail to deliver a great album. Eventhou the sales of this album is not as impressive as before like "Falling into you" and "Let's talk about love" but it carry quality stuffs such as "Taking Chances", "Alone", "Suprise, Suprise", "New Dawn" and not to forget the belly dance "Eyes on Me" plus all which covers all genre. Lastly, just don't judge an album by listening to few songs or comments which you think that can destroy a great album like her's. Go and get this album and I promise there wont be any disappointment. Happy listening!!!!
Free Music Review: Chances Well Taken...

Well the title does say it all, but within reason. Long time fans won't be disappointed as there's great ballads along with the powerful Dion vocals that's made her the best selling female artist of all time. These include the Heart classic Alone. Celine's voice soars on this song, you could hear the longing and sadness in her voice. A World To Believe In & A Song For You are Celine classics that all fans will adore. She does get her groove on with the upbeat/dance song "Shadow Of Love" and she rocks out on "Can't Fight The Feeling", "That's Just The Woman In Me", & "Surprise, Surprise".
The title track, Taking Chances, is a great lead single which radio and fans should love. It's fun & catchy with a great video. "Eyes on Me" is a fun song that easily could've been a hit for Shakira. Celine does the song justice and it would make a good 2nd single and video for sure.
All in all, this is one of the best Celine albums and one you can listen to over & over. I really love it!

She's done it again folks! I'll admit that I'm a hardcore Celine fan but over the last couple years lost interest in her Vegas stint and Miracle coffee book offerings.
However, I am now in sheer bliss after listening to Celine's 13th English album "Taking Chances". Celine's vocals soar on this album ranging from the lowest of lows as a rock godess to the hightest of operatic highs. This album showcases her true artistic talent and her willingness to stretch her relevancy as a legendary singer in this modern age plagued by one hit wonders and pop garbage. It's a stunning display of artistry and the album takes you through so many waves that in the end leaves you wanting to take yet another ride. Check out; Fade Away, Eyes on Me, Surprise Surpris and That's Just the Woman in ME.
Congrats Celine... this is your best English album in over a decade and I hope it brings much success.
