Free Music Review: Celine sings about dreams, life, love and times we remember!

While I have to admit, I listen to this during the year, it means more at Christmas time. I love the fact that you can listen to every song. That way, you will see why this is such a beautiful CD. When Celine sings "I am your Angel," you will know why this is one of my favorite songs on this CD. Sometimes I think Celine is perhaps an angel, she sure sings like one!
Celine evokes that deep feeling of Christmas Spirit! I love "The Prayer" which is one of my favorite Celine songs with Andrea Bocelli. The words are very meaningful.
When you get too busy, Celine reminds you to spend time with people you love. "Don't save it all for Christmas Day" shows that there are many people in the world that need your care today. She sings: "Find your way to give a little love everyday...Don't save it all for Christmas Day...."
"O Holy Night" tells of the true meaning of Christmas and is especially beautiful when Celine sings this Christmas classic. It brings images of hope and in a way it is a majestic song which honors the Holy Child. "Noel, Noel.......Oh, night, Oh, night divine."
This CD has a nice mix of emotional, spiritual/holy and happy/fun songs. Celine has captured all the aspects of Christmas in one CD. Celine's love for life comes through in her singing. Her music is magic! I see a deep beauty of spirit in her work, no matter what she is singing.

Free Music Review: A Perfect Christmas Blend

Celine captures many of the moods of Christmas on this CD (from spiritual, to political, to sentimental, to fun, to melancholy) and in so doing has made an album that is sure to spawn at least a few standard carols that we will hear for years to come. Her beautifully understated "Blue Chistmas" is still a revelation, since she so rarely is this mellow. And for once all the new songs on a Christmas CD are just as good (if not better) than the classic songs presented! You'll joyfully dance around to "The Magic Of Christmas Day" and "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day", "These Are the Special Times" and "Another Year Has Gone By" all feature beautiful sentiments and arrangements with catchy melodies, but none rise to a cresondo. In fact I think Celine haters will be suprised by her overall restraint. Not every song works here (I found "Happy Xmas" and "The Prayer" a bit much to take), but they are the exception and the feeling one is left with is one of pure delight, of being uplifted. I'm sure some of that has something to do with "Feliz Navidad" and "Les Cloches Du Hameau" (featuring many members of Celine's family) ending the CD, but you can't overlook her talent and artistry. This one's here to stay.

Awesome...simply awesome!!
I got this cd last week when my friend from Bangalore (India) sent me as she knew that i am a great fan of Celine and as i live in a small town, i don't get international music here.
The first time i listened to this cd, it left me astonished. Even though this is not Christmas now, the cd brought December in March.As a 19 yr old, i love listening to a variety of music ( Imagine me listening to Celine Dion ) but i happen to like this cd a lot along with other Celine Dion albums except The Collector's Series (i feel that cd is incomplete).
The songs r superb here especially Adeste Fidelis, Another Year Has Gone By, The Magic of Christmas Day, The Prayer and Happy X'mas...( I am sure John Lenon is pretty proud of Celine for doing his song proud ).
The title track is good too(Even Christina did a cover of this song).
Well, this cd has just been declared 5X platinum being the second best selling Christmas album in the US....Really not very surprising after u give this cd a spin and worldwide sales is over 16 million...GREAT...GREAT....GREAT.
Keep it up Celine. Go get it people, buy it for yourself, gift it to your loved ones and everybody else.This will be the best Christmas gift ever to someone by you.

Free Music Review: Christmas in October, Januray, June....

I received "These Are Special Times" as a holiday gift last year, and I haven't been able to take it out of my CD changer since. I admit, upon ripping open the wrapping paper, I was a little worried that I had opened a gift for my mother, but this CD has made me a genuine Celine fan. (And thanks to Amazon.com, I have the CD collection to prove it!) Some of my favorite tracks are perfect for the whole year 'round, including "Another Year Has Gone By," which talks about love enduring and growing throughout every season, "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day," which Celine co-wrote, "The Prayer," with Andrea Bocelli, which brings tears to my eyes after only a few lines, and, of course, "I'm Your Angel," with R. Kelly, which spent six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100! My favorite track, though, "These Are The Special Times," was played at my graduation last June. Simply beautiful. Diane Warren and Celine are a match made in musical Heaven. So, even though the holidays are a good month away, get in the mood with this awesome CD! And once January rolls around, you won't be able to put it away. Hey, "don't save it all for christmas day!"
