I haven't stopped listening to this CD since I bought it! There's everything from traditional celtic music to modern songs with a Celtic Thunder twist, to the fruits of one singer/songwriter's labor (which is one of my personal favorites). Celtic Thunder is an amazing cd with traditional Irish songs and a few contemporary ones following exactly the PBS special of the same name. The 5 very talented Irishmen make it a joy to listen to. Free Music Review: Ya gotta love these guys!

I first saw Celtic Thunder on the local PBS station during a funding drive. I knew I had to find out more about them, so naturally I googled "Celtic Thunder" and found out that I could get both the DVD and the CD at Amazon.com for a whole lot less than the PBS station was offering. So I did the only thing that made sense...I ordered them. Have not regretted that purchase one little bit. I keep the CD in my truck so that I can listen on the way to and from work. When just listening isn't enough, I watch the DVD. Love the sound. Love watching the group perform. They are terrific!Free Music Review: Fresh, New, and Awesome

I watched this concert on PBS in March of 2008, and I couldn't get the CD and DVD fast enough. What a great lineup of music...I love this album! It has 5 different singing styles, and alone or together, they are quite a pleasure to listen to. I love how the culture of the Emerald Isle keeps getting passed down to their younger generation.Free Music Review: Listening pleasure

This is a wonderful CD, especially for anyone who has seen the TV broadcast and is familiar with the songs. I would have liked a few different songs from the performance to be on this CD. It seems like there are a lot of the slower ballads and lesser known songs featured. It is still very enjoyable and you will want to listen to it over and over. A nice complement to the DVD....I can listen to this in the car.Celtic Thunder The Show [DVD]
