When you are beginning this season to think of gifts, think "Lisa"...why do you ask? because when you have good news such as you suddenly find yourself about to become a mom or dad , receive a huge Christmas bonus, have your child make straight a's, or win a lottery-you want to share this good news with others. Sharing the Lisa CD which she made a few years back will give the recipent some music they can enjoy over and over again. It is the "good news" of vocal presentations with glorious accompaniment by inspiring instrumentals. Lisa, with her stage presence backgroud and being able to show emotion when we watch her that is so entrancing and compelling, she does equally as well on this audio presentation. David Downes is a fantastic composer and Lisa spares no effort in interpretation of his beautiful lyrics and melodies. This is the gift, or make it a gift bundle with any of the other CW CD's or DVD's
because you want to share the good music from Ireland that has literally wound its way into our hearts. And as I read what others have to say, I realize you will get hours and hours of enjoyment from this Audio CD by the enchanting Lisa Kelly-so why not give a gift that pays for itself in listening beauty and pleasure? The question which naturally occurs to the growing legions of Celtic Woman fans world-wide is whether the sum of the individual parts equals the whole in terms of the quality of their musical product. Having listened repeatedly to the simply-titled "Lisa" and having been nonetheless enraptured each time, I can say that in my opinion, the answer to that question is a resounding "YES!" Listening to her in CD format, as opposed to the DVD format of Celtic Woman, gives one the opportunity to evaluate her musically without being influenced by her physical beauty or the fluidity of her on-stage performance. This enables you to trust the evidence of your ears that this is a voice and music of true intrinsic beauty. Produced and featuring both original compositions and traditional arrangements of Irish folk songs by musical genius David Downes, who is perhaps best known as the musical director of Celtic Woman, we are treated to music in which modern audiences may take delight. Certainly this musical offering confirms that Lisa Kelly is an individual talent whose frequently-heard characterization as being one of the "Celtic Woman angels" is indeed well-deserved. Lisa Kelly. One of the lovely, talented ladies of CELTIC WOMAN. She is a vocalist extraordinaire. She is beautiful beyond belief and is an extremely talented singer and (on stage) performer. I had the immense pleasure of seeing CELTIC WOMAN live in concert four times in 2007 (all in the month of March including right up front, in Row A, two nights straight, in Raleigh, NC) and every, single one of these Celtic Angels are truly beautiful, talented ladies, Lisa among them. She is a true Gaelic songbird who pours her heart out with every beautiful note she utters. As for her most recent CD entitled "LISA", it is one I highly, highly recommend. I highly recommend all the CELTIC WOMAN CDs and DVDs as well as the solo works of every one of the girls. But of all the solo albums released by Lisa, Orla, Meav, Chloe, Mairead and Hayley, it is Lisa's solo CD "LISA" which I do listen to the most. I love all six of these phenomenally lovely and talented Celtic Angels with every fiber of my being. But, 'tis Lisa who stands out the most, in my opinion.
If you like CELTIC WOMAN, I would strongly urge you to buy all of their solo works but, begin with Lisa's solo CD "LISA" and ... enjoy. You will thank me.
Free Music Review: This Girl Can Sing

How often have you heard that phrase? A year or two later you can never remember the name. Here's one you will never be able to get off your mind. Or out of your heart for that matter. Lisa can have that effect on you. Lisa is one of the singers from the highly successful Celtic Woman. A lot of you have already heard that very talented group of performers. For the rest of us, it will only be a matter of time.
How refreshing it is to experience a woman's voice that can really move you. From her heart to yours is probably a better description. Lisa hails from Ireland. That mystical place we all love. How she captures that wonderment in her voice we will never know.
It may have something to do with her years of training as a vocalist. Well, that and a God given ability that is bestowed on only a few. This is her first album to hit our shores. We can only hope for many more. You don't buy a CD like this if you are only a casual listener. She grabs your attention and more. What a journey she gives you. You just have to listen. In fact that's what I'm doing this very moment. Just can't get her off my mind.
Yes this girl can sing. And I like that name, Lisa. So easy to remember.
Free Music Review: Lisa Kelly is both Beautiful and Talented!

I would have to say, out of all the Celtic Women both new and old, Lisa has to be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. You can have your Pam Andersons and Angelina Jolies...she Absolutely blows them all out of the water in young and girl next door natural looks. Now, onto her voice! She has such a mesmerizing voice. When I heard her on Celtic woman, she stood out from the rest with a very distinctive voice. Send me a Song was such a beautiful song. She had me singing along with her. I have the Celtic Woman and Live at Slane Castle DVD's and her voice is so differrent. I could listen to Listen over and over and never be tired of listiening to her. She does an absolutely beuatiful version of May it Be. The Soft Goobye is also a very beautiful song. Lift the Wings from Riverdance is haunting. Too bad I didnt know about her When i first saw Riverdance...I would have gotten to know her singing back then. She has a great voice, I could go on and on about her. You just have to buy this CD!
