Free Music Notes for Raining UpFree Music Review: Wonderful! Hit: 5 Stars
Celtic Woman is a musical ensemble comprised of five Irish and one New Zealander female artists - five vocalists, and one violinist, Mairead Nesbitt. This wonderful album is a collection of 14 tracks, all the work of the incomparable Mairead Nesbitt. Mairead is a former all-Ireland fiddle champion, and this album shows off her ability at its best.
Heck, I like having nice music to listen to at work, and more than once I have had co-workers stop in at my office and ask me who made this wonderful music. Yep, it's that good. Overall, I found this to be a great album, one that is always wonderful to listen to. I give it my highest recommendations!
Free Music Review: Celtic Woman's Master Fiddler is Enchanting In Solo Effort Hit: 5 Stars
"Raining Up," the solo record by Celtic Woman's reknown fiddle played, Mairead Nesbitt, will not disappoint fans of the group.
The talented musician's fiddle playing is always one of the highlights of the group's performances, and her selections on Raining Up is just as captivating. "Skidoo," "The Finan Isle's Suite," "An Raibh tu ag an gCorraig," and the title track, as well as the other songs on the record, are excellent.
Raining Up is another great solo release from an extremely talented group of musicians.

After watching celtic woman on PBS my friend bought a copy.I borrowed it and have had it for awhile. My friend called and wants it back.DARN.I just had to order a copy for myself. My 11month old grand daughter likes it also.It is great at nap time. She hears it and calms down and goes to sleep. But for adults it allows you to think and picture the music in your mind.I also enjoy it while relaxing with a good book.It is truly wonderful mood music. If you don't buy it you'll miss out on these phenominal sounds.ENJOY IT!!!!
Free Music Review: Mairead Nesbitt-Incredible Irish Fiddler Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is fantastic. On every single track Mairead Nesbitt will delight you with her mastery of the violin. She makes the instrument sing in a way that is uniquely hers. Many of the tracks will enchant you with their traditional Irish spirit and the flavor of her rich heritage. This CD also contains tracks that have a more classical feel such as "There is No Night" and a laid-back contemporary style to "Captain H" and "Bluelights". There is definitely something for everyone on this CD.
Free Music Review: Beautiful, sophisticated fiddle music! Hit: 5 Stars
I'll admit, I knew nothing of Celtic Woman before I saw them on PBS last March. I had never even given Celtic music a second thought. I was brought up on oldies and Meat Loaf, what can I say?
I picked this CD up after purchasing (and loving!) the two non-Christmas Celtic Woman CDs. I regret it not one bit! The first two songs are undoubtedly my favorite, but the CD is easy to listen to and enjoy the whole way through.
