I can't begin to find the words to describe this CD; it's as close to hearing angels sing as most people will ever come. My wife and I were fortunate enough to see Celtic Women perform in Raleigh, North Carolina about eight months ago and were totally blown away by the sheer power of their performance, absolutely magnificent! During intermission we purchased the standard version of their CD, "Celtic Women - A New Journey," and, although this was a lovely CD, the Deluxe Edition with bonus tracks was worth the slight extra expense. The Irish charm included with the package was a nice touch as well. I rate this CD 5 Stars!Free Music Review: Music that will move you

This CD was one of the first from this group that i have bought and it will continue purchasing their CDs. Each and everyone's voices, singularly and as a whole create a haunting sound that never fails to bring a faraway smile to my face.
with the addition of Hayley Westernea and her angelic voice the beauty of each song that she sings with the group and by herself just makes the soungs sound so much better!
I would definetly reccomend this CD and all of their albums to anyone who is a fan of celtic music.

After all the CDs Celtic Woman has released, A New Journey is still my favorite. The songs are absolutely beautiful and there's a great variety of styles: from the wistful Beyond the Sea, the haunting "Newgrange" to the exciting fun of "At the Ceili." Hayley Westenra was an excellent addition to Celtic Woman--one of my favorite songs on the album was her spell-binding duet with Meav in The Last Rose of Summer. If you're a lover of Celtic music or just beautiful music in general, this CD is a must-have.Free Music Review: Outstanding!

I purchased this CD for my wife as a gift for Mother's Day. I don't usually share her taste in music, but I truly enjoyed listening to the Celtic music and the beautiful voices these talented women are blessed with.
She liked the charm included with the deluxe package. I purchased the DVD also, since I could not afford the tickets to treat my wife to a live concert. The two gifts where the next best thing. These gifts made her very happy, so I have to say that I'am also very happy. :)

We first purchased the Celtic Woman, A New Journey DVD + CD pacakge and we were very disapointed that the original CD did not include some of the best songs from the DVD. Once we figured out that the songs that we loved were only available on the version with the bonus track we purchased that one. We felt cheated that the original cd was short songs, but on the bright side we now have one CD in each car. It is only an issue as to who is going to get the version with the bonus tracks.
