Ok I will admit I am not a big fan of Christmas music. But that was before I heard Celtic Woman sing all of these wonderful Christmas songs like Silent Night, O'Holy Night, White Christmas, Away in a Manger, Christmas Pipes, The Little Drummer Boy and so many more. They give us a wonderful Celtic blend to Christmas music that any Celtic Woman fan will love. This is the Deluxe version and with that you receive a bonus track "Let it Snow". This track you hear Mairead speak for the first time. She says the last three words of this wonderful song "Let it Snow". Also you receive the most beautiful Christmas ornament. It a beautiful angel with the ingraved words "Merry Christmas for Celtic Woman". I also love the DVD concert that they did for this CD in Dublin. I recommend purchasing both at the same time. I will be playing both the CD and DVD not only during Christmas time, but the whole year round. Celtic Woman have now relegated themselves to second place with their own new CD "A Christmas Celebration"! It is a lovely collection featuring Irish artists Máiréad Nesbitt (fiddle) and singers Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Lisa Kelly, Chloë Agnew and Orla Fallon. Musical director is David Downes. Listeners will recognize many old favorites, rendered in extremely pleasant manner.

This is a simple yet elegant cd by five of the worlds best singers. Each song has a touch of the Irish flavor. These are inspirational, beautiful, fun and unique rendentions of some our best loved standard Christmas songs and the Celtic Christmas song which I have never heard before are now among my favorites. This CD is one of the best Christmas CD's I have heard in a long time! Celtic Woman are at their best when performing together. Their harmonies, lyrics and musical tracks combined, sound like a choir of Angels!! What a beautiful way to celebrate the Christmas Season! If you like beautiful, Angelic harmomies, you can not go wrong with this CD! Happy listening!
