This CD went beyond my expectations. I loved the mix of traditional tunes and new arrangements. Their adaptations of some of the traditional tunes were fresh and original. The harmonizing is heavenly. I saw the "Celtic Woman" group perform these Christmas songs on PBS, at a concert in Ireland. My husband and I fell in love with the soothing celtic music and beautiful voices of the singers. So I got the c.d. and it has become my new favorite! My kids even enjoy listening to it! It seems like whenever I find what I think is the best Christmas music I've ever heard, some time in the future something surpasses it. In this case that will be difficult, because the voice of Celtic Woman is probably the most beautiful for this Christmas music I've ever heard. I rushed out to buy this album on it's release date and I was not disappointed in the purchase. Every song is beautiful and their voices blend so well. This is an excellent album and anyone who loves Christmas music will LOVE this CD. Everything from the song selection, the arrangements, and the voices is perfection. I could listen to this album year round. The voices are sooooo smooooooothe. I loved every cut, but the favorite of all is O Come All Ye Faithful! Then comes Have Yourself a very Merry Christmas. what a fun tune with beautiful voices. This album will send any person into overdrive singing along with it. Just the best at holiday time.
