Over the years Chaka Khan has dabbled in the jazz genre. Now, with the help of the London Symphony Orchestra, Chaka takes the next step to becoming one of the great ladies of jazz. She takes the theme from "To Sir With Love" and turns into to a jazz classic. She puts her stamp on the over recorded "The Best is Yet to Come" and makes it brand new. Another album with no promotion. I stumbled upon this cd my accident. It is a wonderful addition to any straight ahead jazz collection.Free Music Review: Simply Fabulous

I was a little apprehensive upon listening to this cd of jazz and pop standards. I am a true Chaka Khan fan since I was a child. I love her cd Echos of an Era, but I wasn't sure about a cd with songs like Goldfinger and To Sir With Love. I am so glad I was so wrong. This cd is wonderful and Chaka truly makes the songs her own. I have to admit this is the BEST vocal performance Chaka has captured on record (cd). If you love Chaka, this cd will make you fall IN love with her.Free Music Review: Nice addition....

I've had this for a while & never really listened to it. I don't know why cause Chaka does not disappoint. However, if you're not a fan of the classics & can't appreciate them, this CD isn't for you. But if you are, then it's an extra plus to have the classics sung by a classic. Ms. Kahn blows the lid off these songs as only she can. And the orchestra is an extra boost. I'm glad to own it. Chaka's voice was made for Jazz & Pop standards!!! The Lady has made these classics her OWN!!! too many new jazz singers cannot bring anything new to these songs that are being over done!! well Chaka Has!! she takes the Lena Horne classic 'Stormy Weather' and blows a hole in it! Back with the London Symphony Orchestra, Khan gives her fans who appreciate her jazz the cd we've been waiting for!!!! her smokey, powerful Voice is in full force!!!Free Music Review: In-freakin-credible!

My God! Ms. Chaka Khan has surely out-done herself! This album is the best i've listen to in a long time, Renduring me utterly speechless to write a deserving review! My advice to anyone who has never bought an Album by Chaka Khan and cannot decide which one to get, 'Classikhan' would be the one to buy! Money WELL spent to say the least!! ".... hey big spender!"
