What you have here is a double cd that comprises the best of Chamillionaire's early freestyles. There are around 30-40 flows on each disc, all screwed (meaning "intentionally slowed down" for those born yesterday) by OG Ron C. There is no un-screwed version available*. Since these really seem to be the best of the best, the quality of the sound varies a lot, but don't let that dissuade you: some of the sickest drops are at the shallow end of sound quality.

Realizing that these are freestyles, very recent fans will not find the profound and sometimes brooding Chamillionaire of the post-Mixtape Messiah age, but a true punchline king that never fails to entertain; older fans will be reminded of the best moments on Get Ya Mind Correct. All fans, however, will find that even without pen and pad, Koopa still effortlessly strings his multies together, rarely rhyming less than three syllables in each line. If you've got the holy trinity of Get Ya Mind Correct, Mixtape Messiah, and Sound of Revenge already, this double cd should definitely be next on your list.

*A note about the whole "screwed" thing: If you find yourself wishing you could hear the discs in a regular pitch, you can do a couple of things: 1. Have a stereo like mine where there's a pitch control, or 2. Download a free recording program off the internet, like Audacity, upload the tracks and change the pitch and speed yourself (I know that for Audacity you need to first convert the cd tracks, so you might also download something like db poweramp, also forever free.)Of course, you can also just forget the hassle of all this and just enjoy the songs as they are.
