What an incredible collection of songs by Chante. Collectively they sound like a letter in musical form. She utilizes her vocal talents to deliver upbeat as well as mellow tunes about love and relationships. I saw you is a jazzy atyle balad that is reminiscents of the ladies of the jazz era (Ella, Sarah, Billie and Nancy Wilson). I don't see the comparison to Tony Braxton as one reviewer comments that it is overly sex-driven and see to be forced (in so many word). Chante, sounds like a woman who has come full circle and I definately hear influence of her marriage to ballader Kenny Latimore and wish them the best. Chante is a woman of class, style, class, purpose. If you listen closely you will hear just what I mean. Don't sleep on this jewel.
