This is about the most splendid Christmas disc I've heard in years. Charlotte Church is a really awesome singer. Why some want to trash her is beyond me. There are some who just refuse to expand their enjoyment of music beyond the narrow restrictions of what music they deem "cool". I guess they'll never know what they are missing by not opening up to the vocal wonder that is Charlotte Church. For the rest of us, this is a must-have for our collection of Christmas music. We'll find a range of songs that would seem to include something for everybody. There are traditional classics like O, Come, All Ye Faithful, Ding Dong Merrily On High, Joy To The World, and Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming. There are more modern standards like The Little Drummer Boy and Winter Wonderland. There's even Draw Tua Bethlehem, a song in the singer's native Welsh. Seldom has any collection of Christmas music been this good!Free Music Review: Christmas in October!!!

Charlotte starts by saying, "A massive thanks go to my fans...without you, I wouldn't be here now". THANK YOU, Charlotte for another wonderful album; but I disagree, for you would be there regardless of fans. Regardless of religion, if you celebrate Christmas, this is a MUST. Charlotte's voice is coming on strong...just listen to the whole album, but especially "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" (she of course has the Angel voice), "Joy to the World", "Ave Maria", and last, but not least, the beautifully done "Silent Night". This young girl will give you a religious experience with her beautiful voice in this album. At Christmas parties this album will not be the background music; it will be the main talk of the party. First of all don't pay attention to some of the bad rewiews. Most of thr people who give this cd a bad review are clearly jealous of Charlotte. They all say I was a trained soprano. So I find this wrong with the cd. They clearly are jealous of anyone with natural talent. (ie Charlotte) One even goes to say Charlotte is not trained and that's why she is bad but Billy Gillman's voice is so natural that why's it good. This doesn't make sense. Not there is anything wrong with both haveing natural voices. (and they both do) Dream A dream is one of the best songs I have heard in years. And the other songs are just beautiful. I love ding dong Merily on High. and The first Noel but all the others are just as good. It's a cd you can listen to all year long not just Christmas.Free Music Review: A must-have for Christmas music lovers

this cd is pure magic...almost 20 great christmas songs on one cd sung by the voice of an angel herself..there may be a few mixed reviews by some people who must be opera voice teachers because there is nothing wrong with this cd...it is flawless....charlotte's soaring vocals, the beautiful orchestra and background singers, the whole cd has the christmas feel to it..."o come all ye faithfull" has to be heard to be believed...it is breathtaking...i love charlottes take on "winter wonderland" and "ding dong merrily on high" ..made me want to go dance in the snow or something.....she hits every note beautifully..buy this cd...i bought it back in 2000 and have listened to it at every Christmastime since or Christmas doesnt feel the same.Free Music Review: Talents for the new Millennuim

I am surprised, how many people are disappointed by this album. I strongly disagree with those who told that Charlotte Church can't sing classical music. It looks like she improve her voice with every album released. Songs like "Merrys Boy Child", "Little Drummer Boy", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" or "When a Child is born" has never been done better. London Symphonic Orchestra is a good choice too. In addition, when I listen the song "Dream a Dream", I think she should do more duets with Billy Gilman. They sounds heck good together, both with totally different colors of their voices, both young singers with talent given by God. Thank you Charlotte for your Dream. Merry Christmas.
