This has always been my favorite Charlotte Church CD. Her voice is at it's sweetest and best in this album. However, I can't say much for the title song, "Dream a Dream." It didn't fit in with the whole Christmas theme, and Billy Gilman--well, I've never liked him much.It makes me laugh to hear people talk about how "shaky" Miss Church's voice has become. COME ON, doesn't anyone know the meaning of vibrato anymore?
My favorite is probably "Draw Tua Bethlehem" which is the only Welsh song on the album. There's just something about it...
The only song I wish they had thought of for this CD is "I wonder as I wander." It's not a very well-known song, but incredibly beautiful.

Just wait till you experience "Dream a Dream"! You won't be the same person afterwards. It's at least 20 times better than her first two albums and that's no exaggeration. There is something else going on in her voice this time, something quite extraordinary. It ranges from sweetly foggy in some songs to impossibly crystalline in others. At times it sounds like a violin; at other times like a brass instrument. The overall effect is mesmerizing. This album will easily get more positive word-of-mouth than her previous two combined. And, by the way, the bouncy "Ding Dong, Merrily on High" packs more vocal prowess into just two short minutes than most teen stars' do in their entire careers.Free Music Review: Charlotte's Best Performance

Anyone who likes Charlotte Church this is a must have! I was lucky last week to have got to meet her before her concert!And during the concert I noticed how our little Charlotte is growing up and the power and control of her sweet voice improving!When I first listened to this CD which was recorded last summer. I knew that it would be good but to my suprise the power of her live performance comes through on this CD.And what a value filled with a hour of the freshest,clearest and SWEETEST voice you will ever hear on a Christmas CD.Very well worth the price!You will be hearing alot about this and Charlotte.The critics who say Charlottes voice is not developed will be stunned and so will you!
