Free Music Review: None better, at the guitar.
Hit: 5 Stars

These two, Les Paul, and Chet Atkins, were they British, ...would have been "Knighted"..

What a pity that the U.S. does not have such a process. Atkins and Paul would be at the highest level..

What a treat to have them play together.

Free Music Review: Great live recording
Hit: 5 Stars

Great live recording by Les and Chet. The mike was open before and after the songs that they recorded. They certainly enjoyed what they were doing. Great musicians.

Free Music Review: Guitar Mastery at it's Finest
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD proves without question that Les Paul and Chet Atkins are the true masters. It's easy to see why they laid the foundation for free form styling. Any serious student of the instrument would do well to invest in this disc. This is the way the electric guitar was meant to be played. Rating from 1 to 5 stars a definate 5.If you're a lover of instrumental music this disc is a must.

Free Music Review: Pick'n and Grin'n
Hit: 5 Stars

Whether you are a guitar player or just love to hear the subtle nuances of this instrument, this CD is for you.

Some reviewers disliked the talking in the CD, but that's what it was all about; two master collaborating on the music. Not only does the verbal banter between these two gentlemen add to the mix, but the banter between them musically places them equally among the masters of improvisation.

The art of musical call and response bouncing back and forth between them while thoughfully contributing to the music has separated them from us mere guitar-playing mortals.

Sit back and enjoy listening to these two masters. For those of us who have been in a recording studio, we can just smile and say, "You would have to be there to appreciate it".

Free Music Review: Loves great guitar picking.
Hit: 5 Stars

These two legends have a different picking style, but they complement each other so well you will listen to this great music over and over. What is amazing is Les Paul, 92 years old, is still playing every Monday night at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York!
