I received this in cassette form when my now 21 year old daughter was born and it quickly became a nightly tradition at our home!! Both my daughters are grown now but when I saw it on Amazon I purchased it for a co-worker who is having a baby. Both my girls wanted me to order one for them even now. They absolutely love it and plan to keep the CD for when they become "mommies". The music is amazingly touching and sweet, The vocals are so warm and soothing and the words in each song are so cute. Also, it comes with an instrumental version of each song which is great for when your child starts falling asleep. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 15!!

I received this as a gift when we had our first born son 18 years ago this month. The songs are so beautiful & I would sing along to all of the songs as I cuddled our newborn. This is a must for all new mothers!
My niece recently had her first baby, a boy, and I had to get this for her, too. My favorite song is Wings. Very touching!

I, too, listened to these tracks on a cassette tape growing up. I probably listened at least until the age of 14 or 15 before the tape ripped out. Devastated at first, I soon forget about the music, but recently discovered the CD online. I am now 19 and listen to it everynight. It's great for all ages, and I was amazed at how I recalled all of the lyrics. Nothing is as peaceful as this piece of work.Free Music Review: Beautiful songs for mom and baby

My sister bought this for me when I had my first child, and now it's on my list of favorite things to give other new parents. These lullabyes are unique and beautifully written and sung. I'm not one to cry easily, but many of these songs are so touching that they bring tears to my eyes. My 3-year-old still has me sing "Lullabye for Teddy" every night before she goes to sleep. I highly recommend this cd; you will probably choose it over other traditional lullabye music once you hear it, I know I did.
