Free Music Notes for Child's Gift of Lullabyes (Blister)Free Music Review: best cd for little ones Hit: 5 StarsWe received "A Child's gift of Lullabyes" tape as a gift when our second child was born in 1989. It instantly became our favorite and was practically worn out before our kids outgrew it. The songs are wonderful -- a great variety & so easy to sing! The tape/cd became my favorite "baby gift" for giving. I can no longer find it in the stores and am highly disappointed. Glad to have the chance to buy it here. It's a keeper!!!!
Free Music Review: Best Lullabyes EVER!! Hit: 5 StarsI worked in a daycare the whole time I was pregnant with my first son. We listened to this CD everyday to get the kids to sleep. When my son was born he never really seemed to sleep peacefully until I brought him into work for everyone to see. It was magical! He went right to sleep at the sound of these songs so I immediatly went out and bought it and he has slept "like a baby" ever since. He is 3 now and he goes to sleep every night to "Tommorrow We'll Go To The Fair". His 1 year old brother snoozes away to the songs right along with his big brother. My 3 year old will even sing all of these songs to his brother if he isn't ready to sleep yet. It is so much better than the old "classic" lullabies (which are great don't get me wrong) It is just a nice change from the ones everbody knows.
Free Music Review: We literally wore out the cassette tape Hit: 5 StarsWe originally received this collection on cassete back in 1994 when our first daughter was born. She/We have enjoyed this tape for many years...playing it at every nap and every night at bedtime. Our 3 year old twin daughters have also enjoyed it every day and night for the past three years. The tape has literally worn out...forcing us to order 3 new CD's, one for ourselves and two for expecting family members. We estimated the tape has played over 5,000 times in our home. A truly enjoyable collection for the young and old.
Free Music Review: The best lullabye CD ever Hit: 5 StarsI must add my praises to everyone else's. We received this CD 4 years ago for the birth of our first daughter. The songs are soothing, beautiful, unique, never boring or irritating, and can be listened to over and over. The lyrics are easy to learn, and I still sing my daughter to sleep sometimes even without the CD playing. Buy this CD for your children and anyone you know who is having a baby--you will forever be remembered fondly for giving one of the best gifts the new parents received.
Free Music Review: Brings back such memories! Hit: 5 StarsWhen I had my first child (thirteen years ago) my HMO actually sent this tape to us. I loved it! "Wings" would always comfort my son when he was crying. He hated the car and I would not drive anywhere without this tape. Later, "Tomorrow we'll go to the fair" had to be sung every night before bed. (My husband once tried to estimate how many times I have sung that song to the two children ...impossible to calculate.) I always included a copy in baby shower gifts to friends that had children around the same time. Tonight I was talking with a new Mom and recommended some music. I couldn't remember the name of this (the tape having been handed down) but a song title search brought it up. Listening to the samples brought tears to my eyes! Not only am I buying two for new Moms, but I am getting a third for myself! It's beautiful.
