I believe the missing piece that Ramona is referring to is titled "Gnossienne No. 1" composed by Erik Satie. There are several classical cds that include this piece so you can search for and listen to it on amazon.com.I was a little disappointed to see that it wasn't included in the soundtrack but the rest of the tracks are great and hats off to Johnny Depp for actually performing the guitar piece used in the movie!

If you saw the movie (or even if you didn't) you'll delight in how evocative this musical score is...very sensual indeed. Chocolat's music invites you to close your eyes and dream...of faraway places, magical spells and beauty, in all it's forms. I loved hearing these notes and think you will too. I saw the movie and imediately went to buy the this soundtrack. It definetly lives up to my expectations. If you want to really get the full effect of this soundtrack while your listening to the cd start reading the book, it will give you chills. I bought this soundtrack, though I haven't seen the movie, and I absolutely love it! I think it's worth buying, especialy for tracks 1/2/4/ and the last one. Whether you are a soundtrack collector or not, you should like it! It is a very Mediterranean score, but that's a good thing for some! Great price for it too!
