Chris Botti has yet again produced a fine album of hauntingly lovely songs. My personal top tracks are: "Once Upon A Time..." "Italia" (with Bocelli), "Caruso," "Gabriel's Oboe," "Venice," "Estate`," and "Nessun Dorma" will turn me into a puddle every time! Botti's rendition is simply lovely.

I'm sure this CD is fabulous, as all of Botti's work is. Unfortunately, I won't know for sure until I buy it elsewhere, as Amazon has just cancelled my open pre-order of over a month. That's OK, my local retailer has had it since its release at $4 less than Amazon, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Amazon apparently can't find the the hottest c-jazz release in the country, with no explanation......Free Music Review: This guy's awesomely talented...

We first heard him on a fundraiser for Public TV in Detroit and thought WOW!! We never turned the channel, like usual. We listened to the fundraiser all night long just to hear him play in concert. I bought this CD the next morning on Amazon.com and bought three copies to give as Christmas gifts to the music lovers in the family. I am new to Chris Botti. However, his new CD Italia is impressive. It's moody, from the opening few notes that takes you to an ethereal, soft, and whimsical place, to an impressive overdubbing of his dynamic playing set to an old original Dean Martin swing tune (with Martin singing), this is a keeper. I will definitely look into other CDs in the Botti collection!Free Music Review: I'm hooked...

I bought this CD right before I went on a road trip and played it the entire 6+ hour drive there...I wasn't sure the friend I was visiting would like it as much as me but I played it for her and now she is hooked too...I am in love...I will be buying LOTS more Chris Botti CD's in the near future...I'm so excited he is releasing a new CD at the end of March:)
