This recent Chris Botti album"Italia" is just wonderful. He is currently the Best Trumpet player around. This album captures the essence of his heritage with great tunes and added vocals for all to enjoy.Free Music Review: Not very Italian but sleepy

I am a huge Chris Botti fan, but I think here Chris equates dragging, dirge-like playing for feelings. The whole thing seems so utterly lacking in passion, and of course PASSION is synonymous with Italian music.
And, Dean Martin......come on. He's old enough to be dead, and sounds it.
The entire album LACKS life and feelings and soul.
It's a total LIFELESS DRAG.
