Not only is it my personal fav but I think it is Botti's best ablum thus far. It's sexy, sensual, romantic and the perfect album to make love to. It makes you feel good, as if you're in love or hurting from a recent love which went sour and you had called it quits. Whatever it is you don't want it to stop. You want to continue being this hopeless romantic and to mope as long as you need to. You don't want to stop feeling. You want to go on experiencing because it's better to love than not at all. This is, without doubt, the finest album I have heard in a long time. Every song is as good as the next. The tone of the entire album is subdued and mellow.....perfect for a lazy afternoon or an evening of romance. Anyone with leanings toward Jazz will definately want this in their collection! I am not a collector of Jazz, but I heard him perform on television and picked up this cd because his stylings were so fresh. You won't find fancy fingering in this collection as much as terrific arrangements.You can't go wrong with this fine cd.Free Music Review: Nearly flawless atmosphere music

I debated over 4 or 5 stars. I landed at 5 simply because this is the most listenable cd's I have purchased in a long time. This will receive alot of airplay by me, and that makes it a great value.Musically, Botti is a charmer. He sets an upbeat mood with songs that are quietly complex. If you focus on listening, Botti provides intricate layers to keep the ear interested. If played while working or doing other things, the cd sets a pleasant and smooth mood.

Listening to my local jazz station, I'd often heard mention of Chris Botti but I didn't own a CD. Well, this is the first one I went to pick up...and wow was all I could say. If you are looking for smooth jazz that is truly smooth and warms your soul, then get A Thousand Kisses Deep. Chris Botti is an extremely talented musician that puts his all in every note that blares from that beautiful brass instrument! However, it's still a great CD.The collaboration with Chantal Kreviarukis a surprise! I think the most outstanding tunes are "My Funny Valentine"
& "Love Gets Old". These two tracks let listeners completely soak in the warm
and peace atmosphere created by chris's trumpet and the piano in the background.
There are some pitfalls: 1.This CD is too short.
2.Chris doesn't sing this time.
