I had the privilege of seeing Chris Botti live this last July at Ravinia in the Chicagoland area. Fell in love with his impeccable style and flow of rhythm. Immediately I got my hands on A Thousand Kisses Deep and have not taken it out of my CD shuffle yet. It just too good to remove. Each time I listen I hear a new nuance that I missed the time before. I have actually bought this CD twice as I gave away the first copy to a very special girl, that's how much I love it. It is very varied in styles from the absolutely magic simplicity in the beatiful ballad "Love Gets Old" and the title track, to the funkier "Back into My Heart" and Miles inspirerade hamorm muted "The last Three minutes". i bought this CD together with 'Italia' as a gift for my husband. initially he only liked the 1st song 'Indian Summer' + wasn't too crazy about the rest of the album. however after a few listens, it's now one of his favorites! we've had this CD more than a year now + we still both enjoy listening to it over + over again.. just takes awhile to get into the groove :)Free Music Review: Liquid Relaxation

I only heard of Mr. Botti from Smoothjazz.com within the past year and was hooked immediately! I think Funny Valentine & Indian Summer were the first songs i'd heard by him, then found out he had other CD's & toured with the Almighty Sting. Every song here is worth the price. There is nothing but amazing musicianship, Sexy smooth grooves, and a brilliant amount of memorable tracks! I loved this record within the first 2 seconds of the album! Hope he continues in this vain in the future, I still am not feelin' his foray into standards with When I Fall in Love, and it's been about a year.
