I had always heard Chris Botti on the Smooth Jazz station here in Fort Worth, but it wasn't until I watched his special "Chris Botti and Friends" on PBS that I was totally hooked. I went to Amazon to purchase the DVD and started listening to samples of his other albums. "When I Fall in Love" was and still is the best one yet. I went ahead and ordered it. And to make the entire experience even better, it took less than 3 days for my order to arrive in better than "like new" condition. The CD is great. The ordering process is great. The entire experience was fabulous. This was not my first time using Amazon.com and after this, it surely will not be my last. Amazon makes it easy to navigate from item to item and their "Listen to Sample" feature is wonderful.Free Music Review: He's simply the best

I became a Chris Botti fan with his CD "Night Sessions." I was equally pleased with "A Thousand Kisses Deep." His crisp, clean sound was what attracted me. And he delivers, yet again, on his newest masterpiece. Chris is truly an artist that's blazing a trail. These are some of my favorite tracks from "When I Fall In Love."

Chris Botti has stepped up to the plate again and hit it out of the park. This entire CD will touch you romantically and will make you pensive. It's a sheer joy just to listen to these songs and be thankful God gave us ears.
I am mesmerized when Someone to Watch Over Me is played. I'm absolutely just taken to another place when I hear Time to Say Goodbye (Con te Partiro). I always thought Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman's rendition of Con Te Partiro was beautiful but Chris hangs in just as well.
Paula Cole sounds really good as well. Excellent vocal choice.
Chris said on the CBS Morning Show that he was proudest of this CD. I can see why. VERY WELL DONE.

I can't believe some of the reviewers on this site. Inside the box? His last album was inside the box...this album shows his versatility and his ability to impress us with his subtle tones. If you are looking for a flashy, poppy jazz album, this isn't for you. But, if you want to be introduced (or re-acquainted) to the meticulous, soft, timeless jazz of another age, then this album is for you. These tracks sound so emotional and are so moving that you would think that Botti was playing all of these spontaneously from his heart. The best tracks on this album "Cinema Paradiso" and "My Romance," but the disc overall is a treasure for anyone to own.Free Music Review: Bottis' second best...narrowly

Behind Botti's masterpiece, ITALIA, this is his second-best CD. Which is saying a lot.
Like ITALIA, not a single average cut on it.
Well worth it. Paula Cole once again is magnificent. The best cut is "How Love Should Be".
Botti's selections are as great as his playing.
The best trumpter of our generation, and in the opinion of many, of all time.
And time to say it. This man is an artist with a capital "A".
Comparing Botti to anyone is like comparing Man o' War to a mule. A blind, three-legged mule.
So-called rap artists take note.
You couldn't care his horn case.
