Free Music Review: Important Albums
Hit: 5 Stars

The song killing birds is an important statement about our attitudes towards nature and all gods creatures. At first I laughed at it imagining a young cornell jumping around killing birds, stomping on their throats and choking them. But then I began to think more deeply about the words, and I began to see the entire album is incredibly deep. A strong, witty, unpatronizing commentary filled with humor and parody and irony. That is how good i think the lyrics on this album are. If you work really hard, like the blues, have some patience, and are thoughtful, I would definately recommend this album to you. If you are an adrenaline junkie, dont bother.

Amazing Sophmore album,, Not only you have "You Know My Name" from the movie Casino Royale, you also get a great cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" which proves how powerful and deep his talent is. Im telling you after listening to the album you just want to listen to it again, because its that damn good!! Free Music Review: The Evolution Of Cornell
Hit: 5 Stars

What makes Chris Cornell a dynamic singer/songwriter, is that he has the uncanny ability to explore every single inch of a song and come at it from every angle. When Cornell is finished with a song, you are left feeling like no one can ever do that song justice...not in a tribute album, not ten years from now.

Carry On is proof positive that Chris Cornell is still one of the best singers of his time. Cornell hasn't lost any of his sagacity over the years, if anything, he comes off as wiser. This album is perfect for a nice long weekend.

New favorite song of all time "Your Soul Today"

Free Music Review: It takes some warming up to
Hit: 5 Stars

i was extremely disappointed after my first run through, the quality seemed lacking greatly in comparison to euphoria morning (incredible album, every song) but upon the 3rd and fourth listen i began to get a feel for the mood of the whole album in which cornell practically reinvents himself. what i would call a very mature album is a maybe a little more mainstream while still holding its uniqueness. some of the tracks i was initially quite unimpressed with later became some of the more standout tracks. get this album and don't allow it to collect dust and you will be pleasantly surprised upon each new listen.

Free Music Review: Musically Diverse
Hit: 5 Stars

Chris Cornell's 2nd solo effort is musically diverse. If you're expecting Chris Cornell the grunge god, you may be disappointed. This collection is introspective and soulful. The album gives homage to some of the early roots of rock and blues in the style and execution of a great vocalist. I am a huge Soundgarden and Audioslave fan, but I listen to all types of music. I never expected this CD to sound like the former bands Cornell graced with his talent - he's been talking lately about really exploring different musical styles. That said, I think this CD is a great addition to my collection
