This is my favorite Isaak CD. It has a great sound-50's meets 80's production, great songs, and great presentation. This CD is really a must for an all night drive to Florida, or somewhere! I can just picture JW playing a Gretsch guitar with a Bigsby, through an old Fender amp with the reverb and tremolo turned way up. Very inspiring...Free Music Review: Strong Entry

I remember hearing "Blue Hotel" once or twice on the radio and being blown away by it, but it wasn't until a couple of years later that I started tracking down Chris Isaak's music. For my money, tracks 1-5 on the album are a great representation of his talent; a guy who can write songs and perform them with the melancholy of Orbison and the swagger of Elvis. The rest of the material is not quite as amazing, though by no means poor.Free Music Review: Great sound

This is a great album to start you collection with. Every song is a winner. It is probably my second favorite, right behind, Always Got Tonight.
