Just a wonderful record all around... On first listen it's very obvious Chris is a big fan of solo early Neil Young and country-era (Tumbleweed Connection, et.al,..) Elton John. If you're a fan of BOTH of these artists eras, will most definitely enjoy this album. A few songs could appear on a Black Crowes, but for the most part, this is a flashback to bass-heavy, pot-smoking, laid back countrified rock. And there ain't nothing wrong with that. dammit.
